Kept you waiting, I know. I'm still on edge with some things in the text, mainly consistency, given how many POV jumps this one has and given just how long it has been in the works, but at this point, before Christmas, it is what it is.
A short message to all the other Sinners Symphony FanFiction writers, don't give it up, unless you genuinely want to for the sake of something new. We're here together, with our love and passion for @kaledya 's artistic work, even if they're not making Hazbin anymore and our own ties to that franchise may have grown weaker or come second next to our new fixations, it's still a part of what we have created that we should all remember and cherish as a time when we took our differences and used them to write something for the person who inspired us to create.
But now, when the jolly day comes, I want you all to do this, all of you, writers and readers and randoms who got this in their feed for whatever algorithm magic reason: forget about fics, forget about fandoms, forget about socials, get off those things and show your love to your family and friends. At least for Christmas.

The chapter isn't finished yet, I am going to drag it up to 3k words, absolutely, I still need to wrap it up and then inflate the space between dialogues, because it got too sterile with all the "he says/she says". Gotta get my spices. (Pinterest my saviour)
It's just really slow, and math is really hard. Plus I've discovered a new weakness o'mine! Networking! Yayy more bad grades and more mandatory studying to even pass, hence more exhaustion thus less feeling like writing.
Hopefully I'll have it ready before Christmas. In the meantime, jolly up!!

As if I needed more motivation now that I finally kicked myself to a new mindset on Sinner's Symphony fic Sympathy for the Devil, to do it only when I really feel like it, do not take it as a responsibility and a duty, because then it just didn't work (it wasn't fun for me to make so I avoided it and instead of relieving stress while doing it I only built up more), I get into a "hey it's fun" phase, @marquisev drops a new chapter of Arencha Amendable, my best friend calls me to give tech support on how to access s2 e11 of Helluva Boss which he didn't even tell me he started watching a while ago when we saw each other this weekend and now THIS!!?
I know I say it a lot, but whoever cares for it, y'all be eating at least one or two good parts of the fanfic again pretty soon!

Absolute Penguin is straight up painful to look at. Oz did not deserve that. None of them did.
On a more positive note: this thing, aside from traumatising me for the next few days, has given me some new inspiration as well.
I hope to get back to writing through the course of this week and finish the next chapter between the end of this month or by half of the next one.
So, gentlemen, ladies, bad news about the FanFic.
I upgraded my PC by multiple generations, as well as the rest of my set-up. And then Helldivers drops on XboX, releases a Halo: ODST Collab, as well as announces a new major update that is truly massive.
I'm not even going into the stuff I couldn't play before because my PC was too shitty to run it at all to be enjoyable (Witcher 3, Vermintide 2, and more)
The bigger monitor will let me properly watch shows from the comfort of my bed as well (the previous one was too small for me to see it from there), and my list of To Watch isn't any shorter than it was at the start of the summer, and I'm already invested in The Legend of Vox Machina, something I watch for my friend who insisted it's peak and I HAVE to see myself (he was right btw)
In other words, I'm having too much fun for my own good. Albeit, next week back to school, back to two hours on the bus a day, so I'll definitely start writing there.
I hope you're not too mad at my lazy ass for not doing what I promised to do, but honestly it's not that fun anymore and I gotta find the spark I used to have for Sympathy for the Devil again. Hope you had a summer as good as I did, and see you on the next chapter, when it releases!

How do we tell them?
No, the fanfic isn't dead. I'm on vacation. Gathering intel about Italy on site. Peak research.
I gotta lock in like @marquisev did lately as well when I come back. I expect to return next week between Wednesday and Friday.
Y'all who never wrote a fic don't know how good it feels to get a kudos on Ao3, especially when the first one comes months after starting.
The next chapter is still early in development. I'm focusing on catching up with old friends and media I didn't have time to devour during my school year.
I'm being DEAD serious here guys. Make problematic ocs. I'm telling you. It's so much fun. And easier to get invested in them sometimes because they really STICK OUT in your brain. You fall in love with them.
For help developing problematic ocs try out these two methods
Method one: think of a problematic choice your oc will make. This could be; abandoning their children, killing a sibling, siding with the oppressor whatever. Work backwards from there. What are the implications of someone who would make that decision.
Method two: give them a motivation and work forwards from there. For example; they have the motivation to survive no matter what, they need to be the ruler of their society, they will not go against a specific religious/moral code etc. now make sure every decision they ever make is in line with that and crucially put things in their way that'll make them make fucked up decisions to get what they want.
Now! You have! A fucked up oc! And you will love them! I promise
