Asterix but in a different time period!?!? Low key making a 'modern day' Asterix kind of doesn't appeal to me, part of the charm is that it's set in 50 bc.

Story wise and name wise for them... I dunno, I don't know much cause I feel that the village, getafix and ceasar would DRASTICALLY change with the period.
