We had a hard freeze on Saturday night (10/20 for my records) that pretty much finished off this year’s #indigo growing season. We harvested as much seed as possible on Sunday and have spread it to dry in my studio. One of the most striking aspects of #ainokeshiki has been the enthusiasm of participants. These are some of the envelopes in which people returned their faded cloth for the installation. 439 of the 451 cloth that have been living with participants in 10 different countries have made their way back to Tokushima and after washing and pressing are ready for us to begin installing today!
