A little bit about myself: I’m Shelly, I’m 28 and until almost 2 years ago, I lived in Israel. Nearly 4 years ago I met the love of my life on an MMORPG and my life has been completely changed since then. Forward two years later, and after continuous travels back an forth from Israel to Australia, and from Australia to Israel, we decided to move in together. I packed everything I ever owned, said goodbye to my family and left for Queensland, Australia.

Almost two years later, we couldn’t love each other any more than we already do. We knew there would be struggles but we couldn’t possibly imagine that the both of us would be without a job for so long.

I’ve applied for every job on the face of this land, and have been rejected, too. The greatest advice I was given from every professional who went through my resume was “You’re fantastic, I can’t believe no one has hired you yet. You probably want to get a certificate III in business administration to improve your chances”. I have the experience, I don’t have the certificate to support it - and I need it very much.

My friends on the internet and myself made a video celebrating a beautiful person who for the past 5 years put a huge smile on our faces. She is inspiring, courageous, beautiful inside and out and is currently going through, and taking a lot of heat and hate because she is going through a separation. I went to a market today in midtown and met a girl who was selling her poems. You pick your topic and price and she writes you a poem on the spot. The girl before me traded her favorite drawing pen for a poem. I traded $3 for a poem about traveling.
