RIDEFM is an original character roleplay inspired by shows like sons of anarchy , mayans mc , yellowstone , animal kingdom , and others . it is set in the neighboring towns of stratford and newton ( dubbed straton ) , both located in southern texas , forty - ish miles outside of houston . both towns are home to two different biker gangs : the reapers and the diablos . the one percenter clubs run deeply intricate and dangerous underground operations , often running into trouble with one another for decades . however , as of the last twenty years , a peace treaty has been in place and things have been … quiet - ish . alas , with newer presidents taking over and times changing , everyone can feel a storm is brewing and things are about to take a turn .

hello all ! admin alyssa checking in here to say that unfortunately , we will be temporarily closing ridefm . i've had a very intense past couple weeks including the passing of a close relative , other family issues , and my own struggle with mental health that has only gotten worse . admin veda , who has been so amazing and patient , is going to be taking over full time when she comes off her hiatus and i can't wait to see ( from very much afar ) what she and the members do with the group . with such promise from the very beginning , i hate to see it end and happily , it's only a pause in the story . to our phenomenal writers , please please please continue with your threads and your plots if you want to , please don't feel that you must fully stop bc of the break , y'all have been writing your asses off and deserve to thrive . i am eternally grateful for everyone , in the group & outside of it , and i wish everyone the absolute best < 3
