-It’s by chance you run into the small Yordle woman opening up shop in Piltover, by chance I mean accident. You really hadn’t meant to knock over those expensive Shuriman vases but it still happened. Needless to say, you didn’t really have the funds to pay her for the damages but you were able bodied which for her meant you could work of your debt by being her delivery person. Saves her time and money.
-Simple enough right? Just take packages from point A to point B. Wrong. Between having to depend on a Yordle magic based contraption that can literally send you to the shadow isles of you put in the wrong coordinates and some of her clients being some of the most dangerous people in Runterra, you feel like you might have a heart attack some days.
-Like on your first day delivering a special whetstone to Noxus for their black metal weapons. Designated place being a military campsite near the borders of Demacia. Go to the campsite, she said. It’ll be easy, she said. She did not say you’d be thrown on the ground and nearly decapitated by blood thirsty psychopaths. Had it not been for the big, still very terrifying but level headed, spiky shouldered general stepping in with his own larger axe to stop them, you’re sure you’d be dead.
-As terrifying as that experience had been you do learn not all deliveries are horrible, in fact some are quite humorous. The book in your hand you know for a fact is a popular spicy romance novel, The Storm and The Saber. You’ve seen it around a lot and apparently it seemed to have caught wind in Ionia. The only issue was finding the receiver. They had left a general location and made you wonder around in the wilderness for a solid hour before you caught sight of a paintbrush bobbing in the wind. You’ll never forget the panic and embarrassment of the Ronin as you yelled at him that you had his smut novel. To be fair he shouldn’t have made you look for him for so long.
-Other times it’s oddly simple but nice. A box of Star Anise to Zaun. One of the easiest deliveries ever. Going down Emberflit Alley you see some kids sitting in front of your destination scurry away at the sight of you, nothing too unusual. The rather ordinary but at the same time eerie house though was a bit intimidating. You knock and an iridoscope moves before a metallic voice calls you in. A part of you is terrified at the jars filled with preserved organs and creepy golems and gadgets that lined the walls, but this is Zaun, things could always be worse. You’re surprised when you reach the depths of the house to see a young boy and a heavily augmented man talking, something cooking on the stove. A glass of sweet milk for your troubles and learning that the “Evil” Machine Herald of Zaun wasn’t evil at all.
-You pay off your debt to the Yordle shopkeeper faster then you realize but you find delivering for her was far more exciting then you thought. How knows what other interesting people and places you’ll get to visit next.
It has been a long while since I’ve had any inspiration to write something. I still don’t really but I’ve had dumb ideas on the brain and at the very least I’d like to share them.

Shopkeeper AU
So. Idk how many of you played the Riot x Arcane graphic novel event thing but doing so many little tasks, especially the part with the shopkeeper, gave me the dumb idea of reader being Runterra’s equivalent of an Amazon delivery person.
Say you have a device like the wayfinder that the rookie had in the sentinel event. Every time the shop keep has an order ready it comes with the general location of the person who ordered it to teleport too. Needless to say some places are more dangerous to get to then others and sometimes some people don’t warn their guards/order/crew you are coming. Leads to a lot of interesting experiences with your clients.
Can you just imagine the variety of random stuff you have to deliver. From weapons to common goods to food. Dropping off cupcakes at the Enforcers station, Sweaters and hides to the Avarosa, Trying to find the Ronin that ordered some spicy novel but keeps wondering off from the delivery point.
I’m sorry this is just complete nonsense I’ve come up with but I thought it was the funniest thing to me XD

Valentine’s Headcanons
Kayn
-Is confused. Valentine’s Day? What is that? A day to celebrate love with a loved one? Doesn’t he already do that with you? Why does there have to be a single day for it? Shouldn’t he love you everyday!? He doesn’t understand the purpose of Valentine’s. He already loves you and doesn’t really get why there needs to be a random special day for it.
-Doesn’t mean he won’t celebrate it though. He is a curious one and if it means he gets to go out with you to have some fun then that’s alright with him. He’s still a little bit awkward but after seeing everyone else coming up with their loved one he might get a little irrationally jealous and become a bit clingy. He’ll find a way to out love all of these couples in his own little way.
-Is absolutely that guy that when people get too lovey dovey he will pretend to gag. He still has a little childishness at heart and will be very pleased if you join him in making fun of and gagging at other sickeningly sweet couples. He’s a bit of a hypocrite though and will cuddle up with you while doing this.
-He’s never been one for really knowing how to give gifts. He thinks the giant plushies and flowers are stupid. So in his own Kayn fashion will probably get you something he thinks is romantic. Most likely a small weapon of sorts and maybe teach you how to use it. You mean something to him and would hate if something happened to you. Teaching you how to kill someone in defense is his way of telling you he loves you. Afterwards though he’s not against getting one of those gaudy sweets that seem to be everywhere with you. He won’t share though sweets are a rarity for him and he might steal some of yours in the process. He still loves you though!
Zed
-Really doesn’t like celebrating useless holidays. He thinks they’re pointless and would rather do something productive, honestly he’s probably forgotten it’s even Valentine’s Day anyway. He used to like Valentine’s Day when he was younger. It was fun to go to the festival’s and see everyone so happy. It also never hurt to get some of those special Valentine’s chocolates but that was a long time ago.
-You’d probably be the one to get him something. Probably like a card or something, he doesn’t really like over the top gifts. If you do happen to get those chocolates he likes he’ll pretend to not make a big deal out of it and just thank you casually. It actually does mean a lot to him you went out of your way to get him something he likes. That can’t go with out something nice.
-He doesn’t like going to festivals as much anymore, especially with you. Not because he doesn’t love you, he’s really paranoid that something might happen to you because of him. It would shatter him if you got attacked in a crown or gods forbid Jhin got out again and kills you in plain sight. He couldn’t handle that at all.
-As compromise he’ll set up something more quiet and out of the way where he knows it’s safe. Probably just some dinner and tea in a nice spot not too far from a shadow temple. It’s not bad honestly. It’s very romantic for it’s simplicity and you have all his attention for once. He’s not the best with gifts and will probably get you something simple and perhaps a little generic like a small plush or flowers. He’ll probably be a little embarrassed he couldn’t think of something better but it’s still a gift from him and the fact he went out and got something for you when you know he doesn’t like to get these things means a lot.
Yone
-Ah Valentine’s Day. It was never a holiday he celebrated even in life. He never had anyone to celebrate it with until now. Now what? He’s honestly a little clueless on what to do and will probably go around and see what other people do. The tradition he sees is to get flowers and candy for his loved one. Being one to follow tradition he’ll do just that but something doesn’t feel right. It doesn’t feel personal enough and so he keeps look for things he could do.
-Eventually he does remember that poetry is a thing that people do for their loved ones. It’s been some time that he’s written any poetry but it feels like something he can do that can fully express his feelings for you. He’ll be a bit quiet about writing his poem and spend a day with you to give him inspiration.
-Ever for tradition he’s not one to do anything to crazy or over the top. He’s happy just setting a nice out of the way spot and enjoy your company. If you really want to go to a festival or something he’ll need a little convincing but he’s not against it. He won’t really do much aside from being a bit awkward and quiet though. He’s never been one for loud erratic outings.
-He’ll take you somewhere quiet and scenic once your done with the festivities. It’s not often he finds himself in a shy awkward situation but he is when he’s alone with you and about to recite his poem to you. He doesn’t struggle reciting it but the red on his cheeks afterwards is very obvious. He thinks it wasn’t good enough. How could any words describe how wonderful you were. His poem is really nice actually and it’s well deserving of a hug and a kiss on the cheek. The cheek is the mouth of the soul after all~
Viego
-Everyday is Valentine’s Day with this one. You won’t go a single day unloved or uncared for. When the actual Valentine’s Day does come around he does go a little crazy though. You swear if he could he’d get you the moon if he could to present it to you. Just mention wanting anything and it’ll be in your possession before you know it.
-He is absolutely a gushy mess the whole day, everyday really, showing you all the things he’s done for you, It’s pretty cute honestly. All day he’ll walk with you around the kingdom and point out all the lovely flowers and decorations he asked to be put around for you but they still pale in comparison to your ethereal beauty in his eyes. The only thing he’ll really like about them is the joy that comes to your face when you look at them. They’ll have them there all the time if you want them! He just wants you to be happy.
-More then anything he wants to mostly just be with you for Valentine’s Day. Just the two of you. He’ll have a nice dinner with everything and anything you like. That old custom of sitting on the far side of the dinner table doesn’t apply to him at all. He’ll happily sit right next to you and even try to feed you your food off your plate. He just really wants to dote on you.
-When the evening rolls down he’ll cuddle up with you somewhere where you can see over your favorite spot and start telling you how much he loves you. He kisses you and tells you how you are his life and soul. He can not bare to be without you or see you sad. If just doing this simple thing makes you happy then he will do it with you for the rest of eternity.

Summary: Starting a Cafe is what you wanted to do and you love it! Sometimes though it can be a bit boring and sometimes wish for a little excitement in your day. Well even though the boredom some exciting and fun stuff will happen! These stories are about those days.
Note: This is a Modern AU
Ships: A variety of ships eventually, even some with the reader. For this chapter Its some awkward, dorky Kayn and a flirty reader!
New dawn breaks light through the freshly cleaned windows. The smell of coffee just ground for the day filling the air and a slight chill from the cold weather outside that just seems to seep in even with the heater on. Overall, it seems like it’ll be a nice day to day and hopefully the chilly winters day will bring new customers into your lovely Cafe. You walk over to the door and flip the sign that hug on it letting all who walk by know you are open for business. You had just opened this Cafe not too long ago and only recently really started to pick up on business. So far its just been office workers near by and Hipsters that seem to show up. Nothing too interesting yet, not that you’re complaining. Business is business after all. Still, sometimes you wish someone interesting would come through your doors and make your day a little more fascinating, a little spice to your day.
A calm sigh leaves you as you sit on a stool behind the counter, waiting for any customers to walk in. Sometimes it did take a little while for people to come in but with the cold maybe someone will want something warm to drink. Before you have time to get bored waiting the bell on your door chimes to signal you in fact have customers now. You look over at two men walking in. One was and older, seemingly albino man. The other a slightly taller, young man with long black hair. The blue strip in his bangs standing out prominently from his raven locks. The older man walks to the back part of the Cafe where the lights are really not that bright, you really need to change them at some point, and sits down in the corner. He looks to the younger man that followed him and they seem to talk, probably about what to order if you had to guess.
They take a moment more before the younger of the two walks over and grins at you. Looking at him better you have to stop yourself from blushing. He’s very handsome admittedly but you can’t lose your composure over a handsome face now, your working! You just give him a friendly smile back and greet him accordingly.
“Hello, Sir. What would you like today?” You say as politely as possible. He looks up at the menu behind you and mulls over his thoughts. You wait patiently, there was no rush no one else was here anyway. His amber eyes trail back down to you. For a moment you get lost in the honey hues but quickly come back to reality when he speaks.
“I will have a Coffee and a Hot Green Tea, a two sugars and a little milk in the coffee and a little honey in the Tea. You can manage that right?” His voice was so lovely too until that last quip. You don’t make too much of a scowl at him for that, he could just be having a bad day or something. You just nod for now.
“Of course, One Coffee, two sugars, little milk and a Hot Green Tea with a touch of Honey, coming right up! Oh what name will that be under?” He looks at you confused and scoffs.
“There’s only two customers in here, why do you need to know my name?” You frown fully this time at his rudeness. You walk back up to him and narrow your eyes.
“Because thats just how I do business and I don’t know who the order could be for. For all I know these drinks could be for someone else. That’s why I ask.” He seems a little taken back by the way you talked back to him. He looks like he’s about to say something back when a deeper, gravely voice cuts in.
“Kayn, just give them your name.” The albino man in the corner piped up, effectively shutting up whatever rude remark was coming out of ‘Kayn’s’ handsome face. You are quick to grab a pen and write ‘Cane’ on it just to spite him. You look towards the other man.
“Thank you, Sir. See that wasn’t so hard, sweetie.” He makes a weird face between a pout and confusion and honestly you can’t entirely blame him. You had no idea where that ‘sweetie’ came from but its out there now. You can regret later. With that you turn from him to start warming up some water to seep the Tea, the coffee would be much quicker. Once the water is set to heat up and the coffee cup under the coffee machine you sit on your stool. Good Tea needs properly warmed water and a little patience after all. You sitting there seemed to be an open invitation for Kayn to come up to where you were sitting and pout at you. You look at him and smile.
“Hello there, Sir. Can I help you?” He just huffs, clearly a bit miffed from earlier.
“First, you’re rude to me then you just sit here not getting our order. Are you going to do anything but sit there?” You roll your eyes at him. You have no idea how that guy in the corner can put up with this brat.
“I’m waiting for the water for the Tea to warm up. Im sure your friend over there wants good, hot Tea not cold bitter Tea. There is a process to make fresh tea.” You huff at him and give him an annoyed stare.
“You were so much more attractive before you spoke you know. Maybe you should learn some manners, huh?” He blinks and stares at you for a bit, the slightest dust of pick across his cheeks. So light you could say it was just a change in light. You’re not entirely sure why he’s gone quiet though, maybe you were being rude now. You should probably apologize. Before you can say anything you hear him mutter something very softly.
“You think I’m attractive?” Now its your turn to blink. Could he not see himself in the mirror?
“Yeah, I mean it’s pretty obvious?” He suddenly jumps at you speaking which causes you to jump too. He looks panicked like he just did something terrible.
“I-Uh, Of course I am! Im gorgeous!” You can’t help but laugh at his panic. It seems he unknowingly spoke his thoughts. Rather interesting that he would even think he’s not attractive. To have such doubts when it’s clearly the opposite is a little sad you think. You guess even the most beautiful people must have their doubts. You look at him again and see a much more noticeable redness on him. Perhaps a little mercy will go a long way here.
“Really smooth recovery. Smooth as you hair even.” The redness on his face doesn’t leave but he leans on the counter anyway like he’s the most confident person in the universe. Clearly he’s just a handsome dork it seems. Not that there is anything wrong with that but its kinda nice to know he isn’t a total jerk. You watch the dark haired man cough in to his hand trying to steady himself.
“I thought so. Glad to see you aren’t blind enough to see that.” Ah back to the arrogance it seems. Normally this would put you off but there’s just something deeper to him, like he’s scared of just being himself for some reason. It kinda reminds you of that saying ‘Fake it till you make it’ Its just a ruse to seem cooler then what he is. A part of you is somewhat sad he has to do that, hide what light he has in shadow.
“Even I would have to be pretty blind to miss your pretty face.” He looks away from you for a bit, clearly trying not to look into your eyes. You chuckle a little bit when a whistling sound catches your attention. The water! You get up to go to turn off the heat and begin to seep the tea. Only a couple minutes no more no less. While it seeps you prep the coffee and let it start to brew. A fresh brew took a little longer but you figured maybe you should be a little nicer to Kayn after your teasing. The machine whirs to life and produces a wonderful smelling coffee. The two sugars and a splash of milk is added to it before you place it in front of him. He looks at the cup and can’t help but notice your little ‘Cane’ Spelling on the cup.
“That’s not how you spell my name!” He exclaims. You laugh hardily at his ire and look back at him. You had honestly forgotten about that until just now.
“I’m sorry about that. Though to be fair I did ask you your name and I had to get it from someone else. If you want your name properly spelled next time tell me how to spell it.” He narrows his eyes and crosses his arms.
“Maybe you should learn how to spell.” Oh here we go again you think to yourself. You go back to the tea before you respond and pour it into a cup. Placing it to the side you look at him with a raised eyebrow.
“I did spell it right. That is in fact how you spell “Cane”. If your name is spelled different you should have told me.” He huffs again. You did have a point, he just didn’t like to admit it. While he’s silenced you go back to the tea and grab the honey. Carefully you spoon in just a little bit of the golden substance. The color of it reminding you of the man behind you. His eyes are the same color. You shake the thought from your head and finish up the tea. You place the second cup before him and smile.
“Here you go, honey eyes.” Welp, why you decided to go ahead and say that you’ll never know. The poor man in front of you looks confused and a little flustered.
“Honey eyes?” You want to slap yourself in the head for saying that but it’s too late now isn’t it? You look at him sheepishly and blush a bit yourself.
“Uh, yeah. You’re eyes are the same color as honey. I’m sorry. Thats probably really weird to say, hehe.” Stop being awkward. Oh this just became so much more weird. Why didn’t you just shut up and just take his order? Why do you feel the need to banter? The both of you stand there like sheepish teenagers. It’s Kayn that breaks the silence though.
“I-It’s alright! Uh, you, uh, smell nice! Like this coffee!” As soon as he says that he slaps his forehead and buries his face into his hands. You laugh again at his awkwardness. He was kinda cute when he wasn’t being rude. You decide you like this Kayn much more then the arrogant one from earlier.
“Well I do spend a lot of time around coffee. It was bound to infuse itself into my very being at some point, so thanks.” He peers back at you and openly stays red as he scratches the back of his head. There is an other awkward, flustered pause between you before its broken by the other person in the room.
“Kayn, if you have our drinks then let us leave. You’ll be late to your class, again.” Kayn jolts from his spot as the older albino comes up from behind him so quietly not even you noticed him move.
“Oh! Right, I have them dad. Here’s your tea!” Kayn quickly hands his father the tea and he nods a thanks before heading to the door. Kayn looks to you again awkwardly.
“So then, uh, goodbye. I suppose I’ll stop by again then.” He says. You give him a bright smile and nod.
“I’m looking forward to it, handsome.” You both blush at your boldness and he grips his coffee with both hands before jogging away after his father. The albino looks at him completely confused and Kayn waves him off. The older man looks back at you with suspicion and a part of your soul freezes with that look. Ok then, note to self, handsome’s father is absolutely terrifying. You watch them walk off until you can’t see them anymore. That was quite away to start off the day, you wonder what other encounters you’ll have and if they’ll be as nice as that one.

-You are the light of his life. His whole purpose of existing is for you and not a day will go by without him loving you. Even in death he’ll do anything for you to make you happy. Nothing too great, no act too vile, no price too high for you.
-He’ll want to be with you all the time! He doesn’t like to be without you at all and is very clingy. He’ll be happy to hold your hand and be next to you all day everyday. Give him a kiss and he’ll melt right into your arms.
-He has...a bit of a temper really. Not with you of course, never you, but everyone else will face his wrath as they so much as make him consider leaving your side. You’re pretty much the only person who can reel him in from one of his bad moods. Having his Queen/King sit in his lap and coo him calms him and puts him in a better mood immediately.
-He has a wonderful Spanish accent and it’s glorious for reading poetry with. He adores romancing you with poetry of undying love. Sometimes he gives his hand at writing some but he feels he isn’t that good but he tries for you! So you know he loves you. If you tell him it’s good he’ll be ecstatic and continue to write and recite for you.
-If for whatever reason you two do get separated the black mist will lose it’s mind and go berserk. He won’t stop it until you’re in his arms again. Doesn’t matter if you were gone for a minute or a thousand years he can’t take being without his beloved. The second you come back to him he’ll breakdown and hold you very tight. Please don’t leave him. His heart can’t take it without you.

Talon x Reader
-Very awkward edgy boi. He doesn’t know anything about love at all. So needless to say when he starts feeling...something for you he’s not happy about it. At all.
-His first instinct is to kill you. If you’re dead you can’t make him feel anything anymore. He’ll go out and stalk you. Watching, waiting for the perfect moment to stab you but as you continue on your day, none the wiser you were being followed by him, he just finds himself more weird intruded by you. Your smile, voice and general being just stirred something warm and weird in him. By the time he does get a chance to stab you. He doesn’t and you go home leaving him confused about what to do now.
-You will catch glimpses of him everywhere. He’s a sneaky one and will only let you see him when he wants you too. It’s unnerving but he wants you to know he’s here. He’s not too sure how to say hello and actually try to get to know you. He will probably very aggressively bite the bullet and practically assault you with the most terrifying hello of your life.
-Kinda becomes a weird bodyguard. Always watching out for anything that might hurt you. Gods help anyone who does. Talon is one of the three great bladesmen of Noxus and has no problem killing someone in cold blood for daring to harm or steal from you. It’s kinda scary but also very sweet for him to do that.
-He’s like a cat when the time for affection comes around. You can’t touch him unless he wants to be touched and even then it might only be certain gestures like hand holding. Hugs are a little intimidating for him at first. So much contact and possibly of being vulnerable. He goes completely rigid and takes a long while before he relaxes just a little bit. Don’t expect a hug back for a while though. It’ll happen with time just let him adjust.
-A kiss though. The poor man might just die. Not because he hates it, oh no, he loves it and slightly hates that he loves it. It’s such a small thing but it’s so filled with love he just becomes a flustered mess. Even a small kiss on the cheek will make him red. He won’t complain much if you give him one when he gets home from doing some business. It’s a nice way to bring him out of his kill mode into a more relaxed mood which might lead to more kisses and affection.
Uh hi there! It’s been like a century since I’ve posted anything XD I got a little inspiration to write something because I kinda want to do a blog like this but for Genshin Impact because that’s kinda where my muse is right now. Yeah I still play it. I resolved the issue I had with it by restarting the entire game RIP XD. Do tell me if you all would even be remotely interested in a blog like that. Or I might just make it anyway XDD Anyway before I even try to start a new blog I want to try to do some requests that are here and give this blog some love first! -Not a PDA person at all. Not just because it makes him look weak in public but he’s a bit awkward too. He doesn’t need you holding his hand or hugging him and triggering his flustered awkward mode in front of people. He loves you, really he does but he really needs to keep his appearance as the intimidating master of shadows.
-If you insist on trying to touch him he’ll just dodge you. He’s a ninja master it’s very simple for him to do so. He might feel a little bad if that’s really upsetting you and relent on hand holding for a little while so you’ll calm down. He’ll make up for that later when you both are alone and can afford some actual time for him to actually comfort and love you better.
-Don’t sneak up on him for surprise attention, if you can that is. Never sneak up on a ninja it’s a bad idea. He on the other hand will do that when he wants attention. It’s rare that he does that but he will. That’s usually the sign he’s in a good mood though and will take and give you all the attention you want at that moment.
-Sometimes if he’s busy and you want attention he’ll allow you to be in his lap while he’s doing paperwork. It’s soothing to have your warmth there and feels nice to get a hug or some head pets when he starts to get a headache. He might actually fall asleep at that point from the comfort but oddly that’s when he’s most cuddly. No inhibitions or dignity or hold him back. Behold an albino touch starved leach! It’s very cute but hell deny everything when he wakes up. He’s just stubborn that way.
Welp more ranting just because it’s pissed me off that much but seriously fuck Genshin impact. I made one mistake by not farming like a fucking moron and I can’t recover from it fucking great. I just want to play the story but nope can’t do that without fucking yourself over royally. Now I made the stupid mistake of being stuck on the mountain story underpowered with the bs health boss health regen fucking cryoflower that one shots my entire team. Great. Seriously fuck this game. I do not care if this hurts anyone’s feelings fuck this shit.

Bleh random vent because I really have no where else to vent about games lol. So I’ve started playing Genshin impact, don’t know how many of you have or do play that, and I just fucked myself over royally because I am very weary of boss fights and just wanted to do the story. Now all the enemies in my world are too strong for me to beat and I’m stuck af. Love having no friends RIP. So I’m probably done with that game since it’s very unkind to solo players and I’m a bit sad because it was fun. Oh well.

The night is where this one thrives and is the most protective person when it comes to loved ones. As it is he poisons himself for his sister alone so yeah he’ll protect you just as much as you’ll protect him. He’s not super used to affection but will think it’s very cute when you come to him for love. He’ll oblige happily with hugs. He’s ok too if you want space. Just don’t be too far from him, he worries. He never really had a ton of time for reading and writing but he finds it’s a nice way to communicate with you. Cold and passive aggressive? That will not deter this one. If he can tell someone is good he’ll try his best to draw that goodness from inside anyway he can. Never feel embarrassed about being clumsy or dorky. Ez is a clutz himself and is a MASSIVE dork even though he never admits it and tries to be cool. Might seem a bit odd but actually does enjoy a lot of what you do. She does not judge you by your facial expression at all and will enjoy knowing you first.
