Needless to say, your tumblr is very cool! I love the very punky grunge-y energy your tumblr has/you have. I really resonate with the y2k and 70s vibes you’re into and also the diy punk vibes. I first found your tumblr because I was looking for other tumblrs that enjoy krofft 70s shows like Pufnstuf and Land of the Lost etc. I think the stuff you’ve made is super inspiring like the puppets and artwork. If said hyperfixation is set in a non-high fantasy world (urban fantasy, light sci fi, grounded fiction) would we be aware of any magical elements?

If said hyperfixation is set during a specific time frame (say December of 1974 or November of 1975), would we be in the modern day (February 2026) for that world?

If yes to the previous question, what if the big scary events that could possibly kill us only happen over one night? Can we avoid big scary event? Are we placed into the protagonists shoes?

Are our memories of our life in this reality erased when we go into our hyperfixation? Will be aware of how to react?

This, of course, also neglects that not all hyperfixations are based on media. Would I live as a laserdisk for a week? Would it be in the 1980's or now?

The answer accounting for most of these theoreticals, of course, is no. I'm a nosey and a clumsy bitch. I'll get myself killed somehow.
