Okay, you kind of lost me. The first two seemed like those were like, how you see the island, but then the second two seemed like they were types of stuff we’re learning about. Oh well, who cares – a tour sounds cool, especially if it means you’ll tell me where to get good steak on the island. I mean, you must know if you want to get paid in that, right?

They’re all different kinds! There are specific tours for each thing! Although, the only one you don’t walk on are the Jeep tours. The Jeep tour and the hiking tour are pretty similar, you just burn less calories riding in a car. Otherwise, the history and movie tours happen in the most populated area of the city, unless you choose the ancient history one, then we do some cave stuff and it’s pretty neat. The corps at Spooky Island really never want you to be bored, that’s for sure. Ah yes, The infamous Riley Boyd Steak Tour. That one is on the Spooky Island Tour Secret Menu. Any time you want a hunk of beef, let me know. I got you.

I’m not too much of a talker, but I suppose it won’t hurt trying a few new things. This is a vacation after all. I can just imagine how nice it would be to work the tours here. Despite the over the top decor, the island itself is rather beautiful. How does tomorrow morning look for bookings? 

Oh, even if you don’t talk I could talk your ear off. When I was in high school I used to have to sit super far away from everyone else because I would constantly get in trouble for talking too much. It’s not my fault though, I just have a lot to say. It’s pretty sweet, not gonna lie. I get paid, and I get to live in a super cool bungalow thing. Sure! I will save a spot for you and whoever else you want to bring and we’ll be off!

That sounds like the best thing ever! You’re awesome! I’ll sign anything you want me to sign. Like, I ain’t scared or anything. I have nine lives, like a cat. At least, I think I do. I once fell off a HUGE ramp and landed on my feet. I’m Kenzi, by the way! I’m one of the spooky squad people, but also on vacation.

I know I am. Perks of being the best, and most requested, tour guide on the island. I’m basically invincible too! Wow, that’s pretty impressive. I’m not that agile, but I’m also not super clumsy either. I have knocked down a Christmas tree or two because I get waaaay into Christmas Carol Karaoke, but that’s only because I’m passionate! I’m Riley. Oh, yeah. We heard you guys were coming in. If I can be of any help, let me know!

Okay but… Can I drive a jeep?? Just for a little while, if I promise not to drive it off a cliff or something? I’ve always wanted to pretend I’m Indiana Jones.

Technically I’m supposed to say no, but I won’t tell if you don’t. And you have to sign about 5 million waivers so that if you crash and die you won’t sue the island. Legality first, safety second.

I’ve been enjoying early morning hiking around the island, but I would definitely be interested in seeing what guided excursions have to offer. From what I gather, only good things have been said, so I have been wanting to give it a try.

You have not lived until you’ve taken a tour with me. Not only do I know all the best, and secret, hiking paths, but I will also talk your ear off for an hour and a half for no extra charge. Come by the office anytime and I’ll hook you up!

Now that the weather has finally cleared up, you all should come take a tour. Any kind, I do them all. Jeep, hiking, movie, history, you name it. Come give a girl something to do and a reason for her to get a paycheck. I’ve been eating box macaroni and cheese for the past month and I’m starting to have really weird dreams. Tips are welcome! Or steak dinners, whatever you choose. Just take a left at the big, scary troll man statue and ask for Riley Boyd at the tours office. Satisfaction guaranteed.
