As someone who was in Ruby's shoes pre-transition. I really appreciated the depiction of Yang being upset about losing her version of Ruby, but coming to the conclusion it was Ruby's decision to become the person she wanted to be.

Sincerely, it's one thing to love someone for who they are to you. It's another thing to love someone enough to let them be who they need to be for themselves. Its a beautiful sentiment and I'm glad it made it into the series given Ruby's situation <3

I say this as a psych major, WBY supported Ruby the best they could since Ruby is problem solving with an Internal & External control fallacy.

Because she felt she had to protect the others by not venting, the others couldn't have known to help her out of her cognitive trap.
