Akechi is a psychopath and they're beyond help and Akeshu is abusive. WHy do you want Ren abused?!

akechi became somewhat of a psychopath because of his own trauma however, yes, people have every right to hate him for all the murders he did and i won’t stop people from doing that but i’m part of that one side in which akechi deserved a chance to change.

tbh, if akechi somehow survived that whole ordeal in shido’s palace he would have probably turned to akira/ren and the phantom thieves and defect from shido. that scene wherein didn’t even kill the pt and basically begged them to stop shido and his crimes was proof of that.

i believe things would have really turned differently if akechi met akira/ren earlier and had a proper friendship with him. akira/ren could have reached him and changed him before things became the train wreck that it was which is what makes akeshu a ship that’s doomed for pain and that fans will always hang on that thread of “what if”.

but of course you have your own opinion, anon and i respect that. i just wanted you to hear my side of the story :>

Bad Ending - Akechi

you can’t spell akeshu without angst and this is the type of bad ending wherein akechi is struck by grief when he kills his love akira (yes, he’s akira no matter how many times canon says he’s ren)
