There is something I need to tell my fans.
I am really sorry to say this.
And for those who have been supporting us for 15 years, I am sorry forĀ such a sudden announcement. We have decided to suspend our activities on December 31, 2020. While working as an AAA member, with group activities and solo activities, we talked about our future life, over and over again.
AAA is 15 years old this year. I was expecting the 16, 17 anniversaryā¦
All the members thought a lot, worried a lot, and talked a lot.
But the answer was to pause AAA.
Until now, there have been many fun times and of course a lot of hard times.
Of course, thanks to all the fans who have supported us.
Thank you very much for showing us a ton of new things.
Thank you for always smiling with us.
It is not natural for bands to last this long, itās all thanks to the fans and the staff.
It may look light in text, but Iām really grateful to the fans and staff.
Thank you very much for loving AAA.

This feeling has not changed for 15 years.
Thatās why my heart seems to be torn when I consider everyoneās feelings.
But let me take a break from AAA.
I entered Avex at the age of 14 and debuted at AAA at the age of 16,
Half of my life was AAA, and I, Shinjiro Atae, is a part of AAA.Ā Shinjiro Atae is only AAA. So, I canāt imagine anything after 2020, when we go our separate ways, including doing music outside of AAA. What I can do now is do my best on the 2020 dome tour! And still, smile with the fans. I will proceed to that goal.

Whatever the timing, this announcement must be hard for fans to accept, and Iām sorry. Iām really sorry.
With members and staff, we talked a lot and it was a difficult decision to make.
But let me tell you why I came to this conclusion.
Again, as of December 31st, 2020, AAAās activities will be suspended.
AAA staff and members think that we can no longer balance AAA.
I think that is a big reason.
Of course, the thought of each memberās life is also included. This decision is a unanimous one that we finally reached after a long time.
And since each member wants something different as AAA, such thoughts of everyone became inconsistent.
Discussions about the suspension started specifically around April 2016.
We were planning on this after the 10th anniversary, as a member, individually, and everyone, including staff. Each feeling about the future of AAA, the life of each member in the future, we have confirmed the direction of the company toward AAA, and have been trying to keep a balance.
AAA, which also means Attack All Around
Which means, āthe thought of challenging everythingā
We have always challenged various genres of work and events.
I, myself, believe that the AAA situation may change. This is just one of the challenges.
The next turning point is the 15th anniversary. Weāve talked a lot about trying to run it all together.
Iāll tell the fans again:
Me, my fellow members and the staff, all of us love AAA. I love it.
So Iāve discussed this a lot. Weāve discussed a lot for AAA.
Of course I am one of the members,
The feeling of being a AAA fan has always been in me.
Despite the feeling of āweā,
How do I do āAAAāā¦?
How do I do āAAA entertainmentāā¦?
Like AAA, can you reach more and more people and enjoy it?
As a member, as a fan
I came to think two thoughts:
There have been repeated discussions with members and staff, while I was trying to create my own work. Depending on the changing company structure, there have been many breakups with the staff and other groups. For members who decide to take a new path, I will respect their choices. What is āAAAā for newly added staff members? From the beginning, Iāve been working with a new team many times while sharing my thoughts.
A lot of taking
A lot of clashing
A lot of crying
Lots and lots of laughs
A lot of arguing
And repeat.
Entertainment has been created when we teamed up.
The fans enjoy it because we worked together.
The 15th anniversary will be the last time we will be as AAA.
Iām glad I was able to be with AAA.
I really appreciate it.

If you notice, I have spent half of my life with AAA. And we have spent 15 years with each other.
With this timing, I chose to pause, Iām so sorry for the fans again.
We have been together for over 15 years.
Respecting each memberās future life and thoughts have made us come to this conclusion.
Many people make AAA become one.

Thank you for always supporting AAA. Sorry for such a sudden announcement.
AAA made its debut in 2005. Before the debut, we had street performances with only one or two people showing up, and as we continued to perform in various places, the number of people who supported us gradually increased. And I can surely thank each and every one of you who supported our dreams. This year we can celebrate our 15th anniversary in 2020.

Fifteen years after our debut, there were a number of unexpected events in our activities, and I have made many, many memories in my time spent with this group that were both fun and heart-breaking. Sometimes, I think that thereās Ā more pain and suffering than good times. Still looking at the hope ahead, weāve come so far, and it wasnāt always easy, but now I think our journey has come to an end.
As we got older and matured, all of us members reflected on our lives, including our future and our values. Since around 2016, we have been discussing disbanding many times, and despite all the options we have, this is our result. I hope you respect our decision.
I am proud and honored to have come this far, thanks to the great support of the various staff and stakeholders from before the debut to the present. Thank you very much.
And I am grateful to Mr. Matsuura for picking us up, bringing us to this point, and watching over us. Without Mr. Matsuura, we would definitely not have been as successful as we are today. Thank you very much.
And above all, to the fans who have supported AAA so far, you are the meaning to why I live. I got the energy to fulfill my dreams.
It doesnāt matter what your age is, your gender is, or how long you have supported us for. The fact that you were interested in our group at all fills me with joy. Thanks to that, I no longer have feelings of nostalgia or depression. With confidence, I can say that the present is the most enjoyable part of my life right now.
It was without a doubt the fans who made me think so.
I often say, āThank you for making my dream come true.ā
And, well, life isnāt always fun and games. In a world full of suffering and chaos, it is because of the hardships in everyday life that there is a light of hope that shines in the darkness, and it may be ephemeral, but it will look beautiful.
Thatās why life seems cruel and yet interesting.
I think, of course, that there will be more pain and sadness ahead. Nevertheless, I want to make sure my life is always the best at every moment.
And I want to live the rest of my life with that mindset.
Sometimes, I wish I could go back and re-live my life over again and fix all of my mistakes. But I know thatās not the way it works. I want to make sure my life is always the best at every moment.

After several years of discussions, AAA has decided to suspend its activities.
The fact that it has been 15 years may have been a part of life for those who have been fans for a long time. The fact that it has been going on every year means that those who have recently become fans of us may have dreamed of meeting us in the near future. Many staff members have put AAA-related work as their center focus.
Iām really sorry for this interruption of our groupā¦I canāt say much else besides thatā¦
However, AAA is not over. Again, this suspension of activity is neither a dissolution nor is this decision set in stone.
We will be working hard to meet you again as AAA after 2021. If you like, I would be grateful if you could support each memberās work for the time being.
Itās not a negative thing. But I think many people are still sad. Thatās true for me too.
But still, AAA is still here, and it is certain that we were definitely there for many concerts and many albums. The days have gone by, but we are still in many peopleās memories.
I would be very happy if I could remember every single event in those 15 years, including this year, until I die. I try to. The various emotions and encounters that have touched me over the last 15 years are irreplaceable and are completely part of me.
I loved AAA and it will never change in my heart. Hopefully, everyone who thinks the same way can spend a positive moment with their dreams for the near future, and thatās it.
