Tekkaman Broke Me I Think

I finally know what made me a fan of mecha anime in the first place, and it wasn’t any Gundam or any other popular series with Big Robots, though Transformers definitely had a hand in it anyway. It was a friggin TEKKAMAN! That would explain why I love when characters in Gundam-like anime are all hurt and are screaming in the cockpits of the bots and there is some drama. Tekkaman is literally 100% about the friggin drama and suffering of the MC. It must have enamored me enough to make me enjoy all those drama moments.

BTW there is a polish meme that “Tekkaman is one of the rare anime, which polish dub is better than the original”, so I checked it and polish dub is made up, characters say completely different things than in the subtitled version. There is like this moment when Noal tries to invite Aki to somewhere and in sub version she refuses saying they have work to do, but in polish version Noal (Ringo in pl dub) focuses more on the Adam & Eve aspect from the start of the conversation (he doesn’t actually invite Aki to somewhere on Mars, he doesn’t even mention it) and Aki tells him that she would rather be Eve of a crabspider lol. Polish dub makes Noal a dick.
