Thoughts on 'My Demon'

It had a humorous tone and a compelling storyline, but it felt cliché with a lack of uniqueness. I appreciated the interconnected past that seemed to predestine their future encounter, but certain plot points were vague and lacked continuity.

While watching the show, it brought to mind other familiar works like Lucifer, Devil Number 4, and more. There's a common theme where a demon falls in love with a human. What leads a demon to develop romantic feelings for a human?
