And it breaks my heart to realize that I am not (always) strong enough to fight for myself which shouldn’t really be a surprise. So I’m sitting on the edge of my bed, wrapped up in my sheets and the emptiness is overwhelming, just like the way my heart beats. And it is so goddamn hard not to forget that there is something that makes it worth the fight and that I cannot just go back to bed, because the only thing I really don’t want to lose is the awareness that I’m the one who gets to chose where my life will take me and what’s my destiny and that my passions are a way of therapy.
