Those who answer the call in the dark - Wasp, Thor, Black Widow and Quicksilver

While he understood a fight was going on, there was a point between the fifth ninja he knocked down with a fast punch and the sixth in which Pietro couldn’t really tell completely what had been going on. First they came there because of electromagnetic pulse, so it was probably a metalokinetic, then the ninjas showed up so it was probably ninjas but Pietro had no idea how ninjas would be able to generate such a pulse. I mean, if they were anything like tech-based-nijas Pietro would understand what was happening but those guys were using ancient magic or something. 

“I was about to ask the same thing.” Pietro replied to Natasha, he wasn’t really keen on believing this whole mess was going down. It looked like a bad action movie directed by a talentless piece of bread. When the creature made of shadow attacked Thor Pietro was sure this had to be some kind of hallucination because there was no way this was happening for real. Pietro was about to run and get Thor out of the thing’s way, when he started to hear the buzzing noises coming from something behind his back. When he looked at the hornets flying towards him Pietro seriously couldn’t look more pissed off. “What the shit?!”

As much as he wanted to just go away and just pretend this whole mission never happened, Pietro wasn’t gonna leave his teammates in there to die or worse face this terrible reality by themselves. “Is it just me or this mission is bringing up more questions than answers?” He started running towards the ninjas, presuming the hornets would follow him so he turned a few inches from hitting the ninjas that way the hornets would hurt them instead. He did that several times, for he wasn’t about to be outrun by some insects. At one point he did that to some of the ninjas attacking Natasha, hopefully that would make her life a little easier. “You’re welcome.” He shouted to her as he kept running.

Thor’s lightining openened a hole trough the ‘Beast’, but once it went trough it the creature healed and gained a more solid form. The Beast prepared to punch the god of thunder right in the face. While the ninjas that were hit either by Thor’s full strenght or his hammer, Mjionir, become dust across Central Park. The Beast can’t be affected by iron, metal or electricity. It is barely a real being, more like a creature of the deepest corners of the dark dimension that was summoned to this place and will anihilate anyone who considers a threat or an enemy.

While Quicksilver and Black Widow took down some of the ninjas, there are still many others. The ones Quicksilver left to be attacked by the hornets were killed and turned to dust, but another group of 6 with heavier artilary started their attack on Black Widow using bigger swords, maces and axes. None of these ninjas operate or attack using modern weapons, only weapons found centuries ago. They deem Balck Widow a threat that should be contained without the use of their magic arsenal.

A cloud of hornets assemble on the form of a humanoid creature with two arms and stops their pursue of Quicksilver, instead the ‘Swarm’ stands in the middle of the fight looking around. Quicksilver has a small hornet attatched to his suit, the Swarm detects it and slowly it vanishes between the lightings and the darkness. All the hornets emerge from the one in Quicksilver and the ‘Swarm’ grabs him by the neck with one of its four arms. This creature is sentient, their target is Quicksilver and they are prepared to eliminate.

Janet was trying to help her teammates from afar, she kept using her ‘stings’ on the ninjas only to knock them down nothing really serious. She didn’t want any more dead people dust around, but that wasn’t really on her heands as she watched. Janet returned to her full size and looked for the cilinder, she expected it to have some sort of answer. Before she could reach the cilinder someone shot an arrow in it - very symilar to Clint’s. “Clint?” She asked, presuming her teammate was in another state at the moment.

                    To watch his lightining go trough whatever it was they were facing gave the Odinson some chills, even if he would never admit it. As far as he was concerned there should be no creature in all the Nine Realms able to witstand such an attack. Thor prepared his position to try a more physical approach to his attack, he threw the almighty Mjionir in the creature’s direction before the creature maanged to throw its punch in his face. Unfortunately Thor still received the punch full force and had himself. The punch was much like those of Frost Giants but this body wasn’t as strong as the one he had back then so the punch actually injured him and made him go trough some trees.

                    On the ground, fallen from the pain he just went trough with a single punch, Thor tried to look around and raised his hand calling his hammer back. “Whatever it is, it has strenght.” Thor told his fellow comrades, if he wasn’t able to witstand a blow from this thing it would surely end his fellow Avengers’ lives. Thor stood up prepared to finish off that creature in the name of the honor of his name. There was no way the fist son of Odin would be taken down by a creature made of darkness. Once again he called upon lightings, this time to make sure all his wrath was released. “If thy wants a fight, it’s time to make it a fair fight.”

                   From the few moments they’d been in this battle, Thor realized these so called ninjas were no mere human beings and yet they were still presenting a huge set back to his mates. “Protect thyselves from the lightinings.” The Odinson shouted as he began flying, holding the hammer now with both hands. It all came falling from the sky, a lightining storm centered around Thor with rays of lightining falling on the ground. The Mighty Avenger aimed for the ninjas and the creature of shadows, presuming that if he hit whatever held Quicksilver would damage the fast Avenger.

Natasha gave Pietro a nod, he had just taken out one of the ninjas that had apparently made it their mission to finish her. But there was not time to dwell on that, there was no time to try and come up with ideas to take whatever they were up against down, because they were not afforded a single second to regroup. They all had someone on their back, they were are fighting no longer to contain the threat but to survive. Nat had never saw herself as being in disadvantage, she was after all only human, she was fighting alongside gods and mutants, but right now she was feeling like maybe she was in beyond her deep. Then she remembered a battle in which she had felt the same way, a battle that if they hadn’t won would result in earth being occupied. You are not doing this for you, she reminded herself, even if when a maze came close to crushing her skull was a bit hard to remember. 

She was about to say something to her teammates while dodging an ax by a mere inch, when her voice caught in her throat. The creature made of shadows was not solid, or as solid as darkness could look like. Natasha’s mind was trying to produce an explanation, but there wasn’t any. It was in this brief description that the edge of a sword managed to catch her on the thigh. Whatever material and modifications her suit had, Tania had made a big deal out of giving them all upgrades, helped her not lose the leg, instead she was just forced to her knees, there was blood and she was momentarily out of combat. She just needed a respite. She continued to roll and dodge the ninja’s attacks, she had to fight back or they were going to kill her. It was then than she saw a creature reaching for Pietro. “Pietro” she heard herself scream just as the creature got a hold of him. Even if she hadn’t been struck earlier there wouldn’t been much she could do. The ninjas were still all around her.

Her mind was racing and all measures against lighting were useless in a park where every few meters there was nothing much that could be used for cover. Natasha rolled to dodge another hit and then braced for the incoming lighting. “What are going to do?” Natasha yelled to be heard above the chaos, she was talking to everyone but particularly to Jan. They had to act fast, maybe try to regroup, or they were going to be defeated by whatever or whoever was causing this. The sky lit up with yellow light. Natasha waited.

For sure these guys weren’t just ninjas because as far as he had read or watched on these western movies, ninjas didn’t just puff out of existence after being killed. Well, technicaly they couldn’t be killed considered they were just becoming dust. It was something else. Pietro tried his best to take down as many ninjas - or what the hell those things were. Part of him felt really dirty because of such thing. The others apparently were also filled with their own problems, so he just kept going as fast as he could until he realized it was too late. Until that moment he never felt like he wasn’t fast enough for something, but this time not even his speed helped him.

As soon as he could turn around to see the Swarm of creatures that had just showed up behind him - or from him he wasn’t quite sure - he was already struggling to breath. One of the creatures’ many arms was pressuring his neck, he tried to grab said arm but the insects just escaped his reach or stung him, which wasn’t the most pleasuring sensation to say the least. His mind couldn’t think so fast without enough oxygen getting to him, he was not sure about what could he do in order to set himself free of this creature. Pietro kept trying to grab the creature with his arms, his wasn’t even touchign the ground at this point for the creature was holding him high. Probably it knew if he was in contact with any surface he could just run. Pietro couldn’t bring himself to take the creature’s arm of him, he wasn’t going to escape this. All he could think was this was such a pathetic way to go.

Last thing he remembered before thigs going all dark in his herad was hearing Thor shouting something, Natasha asking what to do over the coms and then a huge flash of light. Pietro fainted from the lack of oxygen.

Janet was caught up searchign for the ninja that aimed an arrow to the cilinder as Thor lit up all the ninjas and the creature of shadows. While the lightinings pratically took the number of ninjas to ten or twenty at most, the Beast wasn’t affected by it. Janet nearly was caught by one of the lightinings, if it wasn’t for a mysterious woman wearing a dark leather suit that covered her face grabbing her out of the way. Her first instinct was to shrink and sting the woman, presuming she was another ninja or associate. Before she could attack the woman Jan heard Natasha’s voice over the comunicator, she was supposed to handle this mission not handle her teammates butts to the enemy. “I’m on it. Try to help Quicksilver, I’m going to see what can I do for Thor.” She answered, right before the woman once again protected her from somthing.

The arrow had expoloded, alongside the cilinder. The woman was now on top of Janet, she pushed her aside and coffed right before poitining her hand at the woman’s head. “If you move one inch I’ll blast your brains out.” Then Janet looked at Pietro, fainted at the hands of the Swarm. If he was dead she wouldn’t ever forgive herself. The woman put her hands on the air, Janet wasn’t really keen on letting her live except for the fact that she had saved her life not once but twice. Still, there’s was one thing she learned at this job was that she shouldn’t just go around trusting anyone. 

“I’m not the enemy.” The woman said right before aking off her mast, revealing an unfamiliar face. “The name is Kate Bishop, Ms. Van Dyne. I swear to god I’m here to help.” Just as she spoke, Janet noticed Pietro being dropped in the ground and the Swarm slowly vanishing with the hornets flying away and the Beast becoming just a fog of shadow. Kate seemed surprised that whatever she had done worked, Janet put her hand down still not sure if she could trust this woman. 

“What are those ninjas?” As Janet asked this the fog of shadow just entered Pietro’s body torugh his mouth and the speedster stood up in a really odd manner. “Quicksilver?” Janet ran closer to Pietro, Kate followed her. 

“This ain’t your friend, ma’am.” Kate said, pointing her bow with three arrows at Pietro and remaining in front of Janet. Noticing Janet was damn confused with what was going on, Kate looked at her without letting go of her aim on Quicksilver, or whatever that was. “It’s called the Beast of the Hand, and it’s on its strongest form in time.” As Kate finished her sentence Pietro/the Beast went running around forming a cyclone in the whole Central Park area which was starting to get dark again.

If someone had asked him what he expected to face on his first official mission alongside the Avengers he woouldn’t guess it would be in such a darkness. He had to admit something lit up on him when he first heard this was all caused by electromagnetic pulses. Maybe Magneto had managed to escape whatever prison the government place him in. That brought the question to his head: was he really about to ally himself with humans against the man who made him see how much of a blessing being a mutant was? Pietro did’nt trust himself to do this kind of choice, nor was he prepared to witness his sister on an opposing side to him.

Didn’t take long for him to get to Central Park - super speed and all that shit - but he couldn’t really think of what to do in such darkness. He agreed with Natasha with nothing but a look, before the team stepped inside the Park and all hell broke loose. At least he was able to run from anything that someone was throwing at them, without a scratch. In the dark it was really hard not to hit some trees on his way, but he didn’t hit anything hard enough for him to faint so that was really a start. “This really isn’t getting–” Before he could actually finish his sentence Thor called upon his magic hammer and lightining helped him actually see. “Nevermind.”

Still, he wasn’t quite prepared to see actual ninjas. “Do you guys usually face ninjas?” He asked, now using his speed to run towards his ennemies so he could knock them down. That was much easier now that he could actually see who to punch. Pietro wasn’t aware that ninjas could move so fast. Sure, they weren’t as fast as him but still it was pretty fast.

Thunders and lightinings lit up the skies and provided the battle a proper soundtrack. Janet was flying trough what appeared to be ninja stars when a huge metal cilinder was opened by a group of ninjas. Using her wasp stings Janet took them down, but not before what was inside the cilnder was able to crawl out. As Ms. Van Dyne watched as a figure made of shadows crawled out of the cilinder, a ninja attempted to finish her with his blade and the only defense act she could think of was blasting her sting on him full mode. Her wasp sting ended up killing the ninja, who turned to dust right in front of her eyes.

“Oh… no.” Janet hadn’t seen anything like that before, she returned to her full size and hid behind a tree as the creature made of shadows walked out of the cilinder. A group of ninjas targeted Natasha Romanoff, they were in five as they jumped around her and began their attack. Those ninjas were aiming the humans of the group, even if their DNA had been altered somehow they were still human at nature. The shadow creature flew above the skies and then it went down like a cannonball in Thor’s direction while a cloud of hornets flew out of the cillinder towards Quicksilver.

                    Of all his battles against Midgardians threats, he never once saw this amount of people wearing black outfits and blades. He kept trying to take them down with a hit of Mjionir, which worked just fine considering how punny were they to him and such weak bodies they had. Even for a stronger human body this was still better than most humans, Thor knocked them out with punches or hits of Mjionir very easily.

                    Despite all the noise, he was still hearing the others trough the device on his ear so he heard Ms. Wasp react to something. “Is aid needed, Ms. Wasp?” His question was quickly answered by the appearance of a man made of shadows, somehow alike the dark elves Thor had seen in his youth but he doubted that was an elf. Mjionir came to his hand and he once again summoned lightining, this time aiming for the creature made of shadows.

Janet Van Dyne was leading this squad to Central Park, where Tania and other brainiacs had pinpointed some electromagnetic anomalies. This blackout wasn’t just some power surge, it was something much more important. While they weren’t telling the newspapers, neither was SHIELD, everyone who dealt with the real things on this world knew about this. No normal thing ever happened in New York these days.

While the Wasp arrived there by flight, just like Thor, Quicksilver and Black Widow went there by feet. By really fast feet.

The place was cold, but not only cold because of the night, it was somethign else entirely. Ms Van Dyne felt chills in her spine as she grew back to her normal size. She looked over her sholder to Thor, the tall blond guy was a nice shield in worse case scenario. “Do you want to go in first, big guy?” Janet asked, then turned on her headset. 

Just as they walked within the area of the park Janet heard something, in high frequency. It felt like a explosion inside her ears. Then all the Avengers were attacked from the darkness around. Janet managed to duck whatever they were throwing at them. “Assemblel!” She commanded them and pressed a buttom in her belt, shrinking to her wasp size and starting to fly and try to escape what they were shooting at them.

                   This darkness was not something Thor had experienced ever since arriving in Midgard, it brought to him memories of that time he had to face the Dark Elves. Much before their anihilation, clearly.

                   The Avengers suspected such darkness was being caused by some sort of evil, Thor had not much say on it. During his time in Midgard he learned that all kinds of weird things usually happened concerning their tech, so this might as well be another one. Yet there he was, flying to the place called Central Park. He had nice mornings in there, Jane told him this placer was great for relaxation.

                     “Sure, Ms. Wasp.” He replied to Wasp as he stepped withint the Park and then it all went down. Thor held Mjionir closer and used it to hit whatever projectiles were being threw at them. One of such projectiles nearly hit his face, but he managed to escape with only a scratch. Thor decided it would be better for the whole team if they had some sort of light to guide them so he raised Mjionir and called up the thunder. The skies light up with lightings, which helped with the illumination of the place.

                     Thor giggled and looked upon the enemies, now a little more visible to the squad. Apparently they were people dressed in black outfits with some sort of blades or something. “Are they…” Ninjas. The word came upon his mind for some reason, like someone shouted the answer to him. “Ninjas! We got ninjas in our hands, mates!” Then he threw Mjionir at the enemies, aiming to hurt two or three.

Natasha was used to being assigned missions, usually those were get in, do the job, get out. They were a different kind of dangerous, and the thing most different, she worked them alone. But that wasn’t the case anymore, not since the day the avengers were formed. There were still many things Natasha was getting used to, but being part of a team was no longer one of those. Now as they made their way to Central Park at impossible speed, she thought how there will always be something she was not prepared for.

“This really is something” she said more to herself but flashed a smile towards Pietro, as she trailed behind Jan and Thor, Natasha checked that her gadgets were working and ready to go. Everything was pitch black, and every part of her sensed danger. 

It wasn’t long before they were attacked. Natasha heard Jan’s command and something inside her stirred, she was becoming soft for this team, but she had no time to dwell on those feelings. She tried her best to be hit but the darkness made it impossible, until Thor lit up the sky. Once she was able to see the attackers it was go time. She smirked at them before attacking. 

They truly were a good team, they new each other strengths and weaknesses and knew how to play off of them. Complimenting each other, having each other’s backs, “You would think by now the bad guys would’ve learned not to hire second rate thugs…” this was of course not true, as Thor had pointed out they were dealing with ninjas, highly skilled ones, but Natasha did always had a sense of humor, even if in this case it only made the attackers angrier.

PEPPER POTTS - RESCUE - CEO OF STARK ENTERPRISES - DOONA BAE - OPEN

PAST

In her teenage years, the daughter of a CIA agent and a lawyer was invited to work in Stark Enterprises as an intern that would work closely to the young mind of Tania Stark. Pepper expect to work as the teen’s secretary, but she didn’t expect that she would grow so close to the Stark heir. They became close enough that during one point of Pepper’s time working with Tania they had a fling, but that didn’t last much. Tania shut Pepper out when her parents died, Pepper tried to stay but couldn’t help but to move on with her life and go to college. After some years she was invited by Tania herself to be part of Stark Enterprises, as the PR. It was in the admist of Tania being kidnapped, becoming Iron Man, fighting crimes and running around the world to find out about the Ten Rings she placed Pepper in the position of CEO of the company and once Tania returned she made sure Pepper had the job for good. While Pepper knows she is fit for the job, she still thinks the right person to be running Stark Enterprises is Tania. Rhodes and Jarvis help her whenever they can, especially if she has to deal with some sort of criminal activity but from the whole team that works with Stark she is the quicker to help and the one with the best responses. 

PRESENT

Pepper is not only running the company now, she still works as a PR for the Avengers - who she calls Tania’s own band of weirdos. Tania calls her ‘Rescue’ because she apparently can help in about any situation and she doesn’t need powers or a suit. Lately Pepper has to deal with the rising of Hammer Industries and some attacks the company has been suffering by the hands of some sort of organization. She needs to look into that.

LUK MASTERSON  - LOKI - BANKER - LUKE PASQUALINO - OPEN

PAST

Once upon a time there was a tyrant frost giant named Laufey, he tried to take over Midgard with his army of frost giants and ice demons but was stopped by Odin Borson, the ruller of Asgard. In this fight, Laufey didn’t only lost his life, but also his only child - Loki Laufeyson - who was taken by Odin to Asgard and raised as a child of the All Father himself. Loki was never like their siblings, Baldr and Thor, they were no soldier or knight instead they were a trickster with a talent for magic. Freya taught them magic, they became one of the best sorcerers of Asgard because of her lessons. With his coming of age Loki started to feel jealous of their brothers because of the atention and love Odin gave to them, especially Thor. This led to them finding out about their true frost giant nature, that Odin had stole them from their home and family in order to have a little frost giant as a pet. Loki turned on Odin, but mostly Thor, being completely responsible for Thor’s banishment so they could take the time to try and take over Asgard with their dark legion.They were defeated with the aid of Thor but not banished, not until they tried to destroy Midgard - the place Thor loved the most - and was beaten by the Avengers. Odin casted him out to the Isle of Silence, a place he only managed to escape with the aid of Lorelei and Skurge.

PRESENT

Loki got to Midgard under Heimdall’s eyes, so that they would manage to come up with a plan to have revenge on those who wronged them. Loki murdered Luk Masterson and stole his life, now they try to live a lowkey life and plot some way to finally end Thor and his fellow Avengers for if they won’t be the ruler of Asgard or Jotunhein they will rule Midgard instead.

AMORA - THE ENCHANTRESS - JAMIE CLAYTON - CRIMINAL - OPEN

PAST

In her childhood Amora was trained by the best magicians in Asgard to achieve greatness and master all spells and enchantments. Her path was pure, until the day she aided the forces of Asgard in a battle against the Fire Demons of Muspelheim. Amora used her magic to enchant the demons, bind them to her, and that changed something inside of her. It was like part of her soul was corrupted by the darkness of Surtur himself. While the enchantment didn’t possess her, it did increase the negative feelings she had within. Slowly she went from a comprehensive and kind woman to someone driven by her own intentions. Her powers starter to be used to evil deeds, she was all but banished from Asgard because of her bad use of magic and connections with the likes of Ulik, Loki and Karnilla. It was only when Odin needed someone that could actually convince Thor to return to Asgard that he had sent her to Midgard promising that if she managed to enchant Thor and convince him to return to Asgard and take his rightful place as king she would rule by his side as his queen.

PRESENT

Now on Midgard, Amora has been following the actions of the god of thunder and trying to find a suitable way that will convince Thor it is better for him to remain on Asgard instead of Midgard alongside humans. She has even come to blows with the thunder god and his friends by accident, which showed her that she isn’t quite prepared to face the heroes of Midgard by herself. Part of her has decided that one way or another she will become a queen, either of Asgard or Midgard.

JANE FOSTER - TESSA THOMPSON - NURSE - OPEN

PAST

Jane always felt like she had a duty to this world, she was going to do something great. Unfortunately fate stroke and her parents died in a place crash, leaving her 3 younger siblings for her to take care. Going to Haward was her dream, but she had to give that up in order to take care of her family. Jean couldn’t just allow her siblings to go to foster homes, so she did her best and was their parental figure. A dream to attend to medical school turned into just a dream, she felt like giving it up was the only way she would be able to focus her life on her siblings and make sure they’d have a decent life. Eventually they reached a mor mature age, Jane began to have part of her life back again so she went to nursing school, where she met Donald Blake. During a trip they were making to help people who needed care they were attacked by monstruous creatures made of stone.  The chance of something great came in the living body of The Mighty Thor.

PRESENT

Jane is now a nurse, working closely to Dr. Donald Blake and helping her siblings at home still. She also helps his other alias in some stuff, but without revealing she actually knows about the secret identity. She feels like by helping Donald and Thor she is doing something great and by being a nurse she gets to do something even greater by helping people with her own hands, even if not as a doctor.

Those who answer the call in the dark - Wasp, Thor, Black Widow and Quicksilver

Janet Van Dyne was leading this squad to Central Park, where Tania and other brainiacs had pinpointed some electromagnetic anomalies. This blackout wasn’t just some power surge, it was something much more important. While they weren’t telling the newspapers, neither was SHIELD, everyone who dealt with the real things on this world knew about this. No normal thing ever happened in New York these days.

While the Wasp arrived there by flight, just like Thor, Quicksilver and Black Widow went there by feet. By really fast feet.

The place was cold, but not only cold because of the night, it was somethign else entirely. Ms Van Dyne felt chills in her spine as she grew back to her normal size. She looked over her sholder to Thor, the tall blond guy was a nice shield in worse case scenario. “Do you want to go in first, big guy?” Janet asked, then turned on her headset. 

Just as they walked within the area of the park Janet heard something, in high frequency. It felt like a explosion inside her ears. Then all the Avengers were attacked from the darkness around. Janet managed to duck whatever they were throwing at them. “Assemblel!” She commanded them and pressed a buttom in her belt, shrinking to her wasp size and starting to fly and try to escape what they were shooting at them.

EVENT - THE BLACK OUT

The whole city of New York has blacked out for the last 50 minutes and while we have techs from companies like Stark Enterprises, Hammer Industries and even the Baxter Building, nothing seems to be able to change such state. People are advised to remain in their homes to prevent any sort of harm to themselves or others. 

Tania Stark managed to find some sort of source of the eletromagnetic pulse coming from 6 points around the world, two of which are within american borders. The Avengers decided to split and check the two points, considering that this might be causing the black out and it’s highly likely there’s a criminal - or more than one - behind this. While some will check Central Park during this black out and see what can they find there, the others will take the Quinjet and travel to New Orleans and check the other source.

The world needs hope.

Tania Stark and Henry Pym are working alongside other great minds (Reid Richards, Dr. Hank McCoy and Justin Hammer) to find a way to turn the power back on.

Steve Rogers is leading a squad going to New Orleans, with him are: Clint Barton, Greer Grant, Wanda Maximoff.

Janet Van Dyne is leading the squad going to the Central Park with her are: Natasha Romanoff, Pietro Maximoff and Thor Odinson.

Other characters, if in New York, will react to the blackout.

We are having a slow start but that ain’t keeping us from plotting and starting up our little piece of life. In the following week we will have our very first event and I can say it will be quite hellish.

Thanks to our Natasha, Eira, for the new graphics because I couldn’t do them as great as she did and I’m very happy.

THE NEW AVENGERS ARE HERE!

In the past months there have been rumours about the Avengers retiring, considering each of the heroes have their own personal lives and their individual enemies. Despite them acting against some menances that appeared in the streets of New York the team had its lows, like the monster turned hero hunted by the US army escaping into the world and being MIA at the moment.

Tania Stark called a meeting with the press on this Friday to announce that the original remaining Avengers wouldn’t be stepping out of their duties as heroes and members of the team but isntead they’d share the duties with new heroes, names that have been known around the corners of the city. Names like Steve Rogers, the Captain America, recently found on Artic by SHIELD and returning to his duties as the American symbol of hope that fought against Nazism in WW2, and the ex-con Clint Barton who used to be a thief by the name Hawkeye - a name the hero choose to keep. There have been other aditions to the team, non human members. Their aliases are Tigra, Scarlet Witch and Quiciksilver. Two out of the three have been involved with terrorism previously and the third one is a vigilante from Chicago.

Maybe this new team was created to make a statement, we might have to stick around and wait. The New Avengers are here, we should welcome them and expect these new recruits to stand out as heroes much like the original team. Now we should Ms Van Dyne and Ms Stark returning to their companies, or maybe Pepper Potts will remain as CEO of Stark Enterprises alongside Edwin Jarvis Jr. It remains to be seen.

All we can say for sure now is that we’ll be seeing much more of these new faces in our newspaper.
