So, I was talking about Lauren’s interview with my mutual @blogbeautiffulthings and she told me about the part where Lauren talks about Catholicism and her studies in a Catholic school after she mentioned Camila’s Shameless and something clicked.

The story behind Shameless is interesting because we know that Camila confesses to being in love with a person and she hints that it can be seen as “sin” and for the same reason she is confessing to a priestess (who has nails that Lauren wore for a long time too)

The most curious thing about this is Camila and her outfit for the confessional scene and that the designer mentioned in a comment on her IG

And back again that brings us to Lauren’s interview. But at the same time do you remember what Camila did with that confessional at the end of Shameless?

Yep, she burned it And Lauren? She didn’t burn the reference to the confessional but she sent to hell her fear and everything related to her Catholic teaching by doing what Catholics hate: She came out of the closet. Remember that being part of the LGBT community is a sin in some places yet.
