The moment Anton heard shots being fired, his mind went straight to Domino. Wherever she was he had to make sure she was safe. But even as his mind went to her, he couldn’t ignore the immediacy of what was happening around him. Even if he managed to locate the initial shooter who set things off, it wouldn’t have made a difference. Nearly every damn individual in the room was armed, and the sound of bullets whizzing past as he ducked for cover told him the return fire was immediate. Pistol in hand, he slinked out from beneath the bar, trying to catch sight of who’d been hit. Was Thea okay? His mind was racing. He needed to find both her and Dom, fast. “Oh, no you don’t.” Anton growled as a gang member next to him began to draw their gun. He grabbed them by the collar, slamming them back against the bar. “If you know what’s good for you, you’ll fucking drop it, now.” He snarled, pressing his against the base of their skull. He wouldn’t hesitate to blow their brains right out if they so much as attempted to fire it.
