I've thought about it, yeah, but I'd rather have my undisturbed quiet. I write a lot, so I need quiet almost all the time. I honestly don't think they do. They just want power, and we, as a society, have failed to keep the power of actual freedom in our own hands. They've really gone against everything they built themselves on initially. You'd be a fool to truly believe they want good for anyone below them.

Also blinds are ugly as fuck, the thing is that plan would require me to be able to decide on some actual curtains, and I am very indecisive when it comes to decorating. I’m afraid I only watch b+ horror films so I wouldn’t know.

Eh, I don't mind the wooden ones, they're just a lot of work to put up and install correctly and clean regularly. I think the curtains in my place are from the 1800s, and they're absolutely disastrous looking. So... just horror?

I wish I lived by myself. It sounds lovely never having to look after anyone else or tell anyone where I’m going. Unfortunately when I move out it’ll be to my match. I uh … why would they want to do that? I’m sure they’ve got better things to do than look at us doing stupid stuff.

It gets a bit lonely and I get paranoid every so often, but it's nice to not have to worry about anyone else, yeah. I don't have a match, so if I do move in with someone, they'll just be a room mate, essentially. I honestly dunno. Maybe we're so fascinating from a standpoint of having the ability to control us that they observe us and attempt to validate their creepiness by saying they're just out to improve society and do things in our best interest.

See, I’m the opposite. I pretty much never have any opportunity because my mom’s always home, and I have to stay with her. I think I would just be worried on someone walking in even if it was an accident.

I don't think you could even handle me," he said, raising a hand to slick back his hair.

Calm down.” He reached over to take his arm. “That’s not gonna happen, Riv. I won’t let that happen. This city is messed up, yeah. But…  I think there’s some sort of hero out there, masked and everything, who’ll help us.”

He let himself calm down when Bandit touched him and his eyes slowly rose up to meet his again. "Sorry. It's the glasses. I dunno. Sorry." He rubbed the back of his neck and laughed softly. "You think so? Maybe we'll be saved from society or summat and we won't have to deal with these fucking matches. I think that's bollocks. People change, fall in and out of love. No one is ever the same person at twenty five that they were at seventeen. I was just lucky enough to remain single."
