Gonna post the design notes(ish)/commentary below if you wanna look at them

Charlie: I wanted to make her really tall and thin just like her original design and keep a softer look to her fur to contrast the sharp red accents. I gave her a sort of heart marking around her face that mildly resembles a skull just to hint a little at her demonic origins. God I hate hooves but they're so cute

Vaggi: made her more bulky and muscly because she deserves to be a buff queen like that. I didn't really know how to add the ponytail into the design effectively, so I just made her fluffier than normal. Her exorcist design has short cropped fur because of that to show the hair growth she had in hell. Why does her exorcist design have a different fur pattern? Ehh, don't worry about it. Tried to give her the horns she had on her exorcist mask but tbh it kinda looks ass. I tried tho

Cherri: I love her hair and wanted to keep the wildness of her original design, so I gave her a mane :). Gave her the sharp pink patterns that look like explosions because yes. I love this one tbh. May be one of my favourites

Angel: the hear horns go hard. Matching heart patterns with Husk? Thought it'd be cute. Got rid of his bowtie. It's cute, but not necessary to recognize his character. Gave him mandibles to keep more of the spider theme that was in his original design

Husk: literally just the same but with broken red horns on the side. Like honestly he's designed enough in the original design that I don't need to translate much

Alastor: I mean c'mon you gotta have the deer antlers. Kept him sleek and slightly more angular to show his imposing demeanor. Kinda forgot to make the little X on his forehead green tho. It's fiiiine

Nifty: little gremlin:). Gave her some antennae to lean into the bug theme. Other than that not much is different

Ok so the username lore.

River is just my (kinda) dead name. I mean i do still go by it in most of my daily life but I go by other names as well. The name River is from my parents who really liked the name River Tam from firefly. Those nerds.

Nova is a name i found on a list of nature inspired non binary names that i found on Pinterest. I used it for a few weeks before I realized it was to girly for me. Still kinda like it as a name tho.

I used to go by RiverDoesArt in a few places but realized it wasn't that original. So thinking of another name i could go with i just combined the two name together. Its nice, short and easy to say.

Ableism is bullshit, why the hell can you look at someone who can’t physically do the same things you can, and say that they’re faking it? That’s fucked up on so many levels

I don’t have a bloody diagnosis for what’s wrong with my joints because America™️ but I don’t need a diagnosis for me! I fucking need it because EVERYONE ELSE needs an “actual”written reason why they shouldn’t be rude, ableism is fucking awful.

This accounts for ableism against the mentally disabled as well, the second your disability can’t be seen by the whole bloody world, you’re experience is “no longer valid”

All is to say, I’ve been pissed about this
