I don’t know how girlies read the Azriel bonus chap and didn’t immediately walk away with the knowledge that Azriel and Gwyn are mates.

Guys, Sarah said that the Valkyries aren't important in the next books of acotar? It's urgent.

words, how little they mean when you’re a little too late

I love the Valkyrie so much but I just hate the way it was written. It’s hard to love and praise them as Valkyrie when they passed a rite due to friendship bracelets and only a few months training. I’m surprised sara wrote it that way. I’m excited for girls in the future but it’s hard to respect them as “warriors”
Y’all, I need you to please remember that this is a fantasy book aka not realistic. And while we are at it:
They didn’t pass the rite due to “friendship bracelets”. Their survival skills relied mostly upon their training. Gwyn literally spied on Illyrians for days and lead a monster to them to save her friends—I wouldn’t say that’s her friendship bracelet working. That’s purely Gwyn’s Valkyrie training kicking in.
They had only a few months of training, sure, with two of the most skilled Illyrian warriors in history. Don’t tell me that training with Devlon and training with Cassian is the same thing, because it’s not.
I don’t see y’all throwing a fit about Feyre learning to read, becoming fae AND high lady within like... 2 seconds? This isn’t hate towards Feyre, I’m just pointing out how Sarah writes things. Stuff needs to happen quickly and characters need to evolve, she can’t wait 4 books for the Valkyries to be “properly trained” or for Feyre to live long enough as fae to learn how their world works.
Too many ACOTAR plot points are unrealistic but guess what? This is a high fantasy book. It isn’t supposed to be believable. I’m sorry if you’re disappointed in how Sarah wrote the Valkyries, I just don’t share the sentiment. I don’t take ACOTAR that seriously—I simply enjoy it.
