More Drivers and Blades Au, this time we have Amy and Blaze! Amy is Blaze's Driver and Blaze is a Fire Blade (although I feel like that goes without saying) Blaze's weapon is also a hammer because you can't just not have Amy using a hammer.

In this Au, Amy is the Princess of Soleanna. She became the princess after the previous princess disappeared one day, although Amy was too young to remember any of that. Amy doesn't have any actual royal blood, but she was specifically chosen to take the throne. And once she became old enough and successfully resonated with Blaze, that sealed the deal.

Blaze is a Blade that belongs to the Soleanna Royal Family, her Core Crystal being passed down each generation, which is how Amy became her Driver. Both Amy and Blaze are close friends with Sonic and Tails, so when it becomes apparent that Eggman is up to no good, Sonic and Tails quickly head to Soleanna to get Amy's help.

Amy is very excited to learn that Sonic became a Driver, even if his Blade is... unique. She's also very quick to join Sonic and help him fight against Eggman, although they had to make a minor detour first, but I'll get into that with the next post :3

Last Driver and Blade pair for the main party of the au! I swear I didn't intentionally make my favorite pair the last one, I just thought it made sense to save them for last. But anyway, Espio and Silver! Espio is the Driver and Silver is his Light type Blade. Silver's weapon is a pair of dagger swords. Their designs were inspired by Galahad's sword since it would fit for Silver, but also because the shape of the sword reminds me of a kunai which is fitting for Espio.

Espio and Silver work as mercenaries along with both Vector and Charmy. They'll do just about any job as long as it pays and isn't sketchy. It happens quite often that Espio and Silver split up to get more work done, with each of them taking one of the swords since Silver has two of them. The first time Espio encounters the party is when he's by himself. He suspects the group to be working for Eggman due to them having Shadow with them and he knows that Eggman's been after this mysterious Blade with the golden Core Crystal for quite a while. Silver himself doesn't show up until the party's second encounter with Espio.

And some extra fun facts for Espio and Silver, they both have slightly different appearances for before and after they join the party. Before joining, Espio has his mask over his muzzle and Silver's visor hides his eyes. They also just look like that when in combat.

Espio and Silver, like Rouge and Knuckles, are antagonistic towards the party until they join, but unlike Rouge and Knuckles they fight the party three times before joining while Rouge and Knuckles only fight them twice. Rouge and Knuckles are also only present for Espio and Silver's third fight, they aren't there for the first two.
