Girl Meets Jexica was, amazingly, worse than the promo suggested. Everyone felt out of character. Riley was bizarrely rude/cold to Maya. The whole point of the triangle has always been that the girls put each other first - but here Riley seemed to revel in rubbing Maya’s nose in it. Lucas’ note made zero sense - he tells Jexica he’s in a love triangle and then says he wants to be her friend oh but also he knew it was Riley the whole time? So what was he trying to do with the note? Remind Riley of something she knows? It’s not like it offered any new insight like “I’m starting to think I like one more and don’t know what to do” or anything of that nature. Really, really awful episode. Maybe the worst of the series.
