*startled squeak* Oh. Hello.
“Occupational hazard. I still could be. That’s th’ chance we take. Next time, I’ll tackle ya from th’ front.”
“True,” she replied before elbowing him in the gut, “What? Just checking!”
*just kinda gonna sneak up on a Scout and hug her* So, do I get a hello?
*startled squeak* Oh. Hello.
“….Chicken. Or barbecue.” He shrugged. “I ain’t picky. S’long as they got sweet tea there.”Â
“Y’know, if you wanted to eat together,  you could’ve just asked. And not snuck up on me like that. Will you stop annoying me if I find something?”
“But you’re pretty when you’re mad,” he teased.Â
Well. No one had said that before. Not to her face, anyway. Probably not to anyone else’s face, either.
“You could’ve been a Spy! Or...” she shuddered as she remembered an assault from a certain Sniper, “...Or someone else!”

“Y’know, if you wanted to eat together,  you could’ve just asked. And not snuck up on me like that. Will you stop annoying me if I find something?”
Wow. This thing seemed awfully non-murderous for what it was, but Gwen wasn’t ready to trust it just yet.
“What are you?” she asked. If it wasn’t some wizard’s terrifying death beast, the story behind it could be worth finding out.
The dragon snorted, slowly standing up on its hind legs, extending its wings.
The beast was black as coal, but the wings. They didn’t match the body. They were a light shade of soil, and when the sunlight hit them, they shone and glowed with all the colors.
That seemed like the best answer she was going to get.
“Okay, so you’re not attacking me... Now what?”
It hadn’t eaten her. That was good. How was she supposed to understand what it wanted, though?
“Hello…?”
It made a noise that could resemble a greeting.
Wow. This thing seemed awfully non-murderous for what it was, but Gwen wasn’t ready to trust it just yet.
“What are you?” she asked. If it wasn’t some wizard’s terrifying death beast, the story behind it could be worth finding out.

“Food. I thought we had a thing goin’,” he sobbed, feigning being hurt. “After that kiss under th’ mistletoe, I thought sure we’d go out at least.”Â
Now she was surprised. Why would anyone want to go out with her?
“I meant what kind of food, you dope,” she clarified in the same annoyed tone as before. It wouldn’t do to have others know what she was thinking.

“When are you taking me out to dinner?” he teased, giving her hair a playful tug.
She growled a and swatted at the hand holding her hair.
“I don’t remember saying anything. I don’t even know what you like.”
Holy hell, this thing was scary. The smell was pretty foul, too, Gwen stood rooted to the spot with fear.
Whiiiineeeee. The poor thing seems miserable.
It hadn’t eaten her. That was good. How was she supposed to understand what it wanted, though?

A massive dragon approached the Scout with all the care it could muster. The stench of rot was still very intense, chunks of flesh still leeched on its black bones.
Holy hell, this thing was scary. The smell was pretty foul, too, Gwen stood rooted to the spot with fear.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr..." Sounds like there's a wolf about!
Mando looked up from his plate of enchiladas, frowning softly as he tried to locate the sound. His hand went for his pistol slowly. “…Hello?”
He looked at the animal, something like a wolf, but larger, more feral. Looking from the beast to his food and back, he wondered if he could distract it with the enchiladas long enough to escape. “Chu want some food, doggy?” he cooed, trying to sound calm. “Here chu go. Nice, hot enchiladas.” Standing slowly, he held the food out to the monster with one hand and held his gun at his side with the other.Â
She stuck out her head a bit to get a whiff of the offering. Ah, this was the source of that smell! The snarling stopped, but a wary eye remained on the human and his weapon. She would like to have that food, though... To approach or not to approach?
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr..." Sounds like there's a wolf about!
Mando looked up from his plate of enchiladas, frowning softly as he tried to locate the sound. His hand went for his pistol slowly. “…Hello?”
“Go on. Get back.” He squinted into the dark and spotted the beast. It was larger than any coyote he’d ever seen. “…What t’e hell?”
The creature was more interested in securing a meal than explaining what she was. Here was a fleshy thing, alive and fresh. There was a fantastic smell about, too. What was the fleshy thing eating? It must be pretty good. Only the knowledge that he was armed kept her from lunging right then and there.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr..." Sounds like there's a wolf about!

The growl turned more menacing as the man reached for his weapon. It didn't seem to be coming any nearer, however. Whatever was making this noise clearly knew about firearms.
