Interesting take full of things I do not fully agree with.

I don't know about other queer folks, but I see no appeal about the secrecy, the dl, the hiding. (The lady is saying "it makes it even hotter", I do not agree, I found it so lovely to have an out Harris and an quasi-out-not-hiding from everyone Troy in Role Model, because they get to be their authentic selves).

To me, this is aching my heart and raises my blood pressure because it is fucking unfair we do not get to be complete selves just because we are the minority.

And most of the queer men online DESPISE the DL representation, because it is not thrilling, most of the time.

Many of the straight folks reacting to Heated Rivalry also are shattered and fkn SAD AF that they a) need to hide b) cannot be themselves and c) do have so many repercussions coming along with this.
