[CHS Gym]
[Isla was already thoroughly disappointed in Robin’s failure to arrive in class. She wasn’t sure why she was even bothering to try and assist her at this point, it was clear the girl was hellbent on failing no matter what. Why should she bother helping her? Yet somehow Isla didn’t seem able to just give up on the student, not yet. So she’d made her come out to volunteer on the Homecoming Dance committee.]
Ah, Robin, you made it. Excellent. You’ll be decorating. Streamers are on that table there, just grab a chair and start stringing them up, I’ll help you.
[Robin wanted to chuck the streamers across the room and walk out of the gym, but she was already looking at more time in school than she needed. The girl wasn't an idiot, she knew just what she needed to graduate and was planning on doing it by the skin of her teeth - screwing that up by angering the delusional teacher wasn't going to help. She shook her head as she walked toward the streamers and grabbed a couple of rolls and a chair and pulled it toward a corner of the gym.]
Yeah, I figured I might as well show up, can't afford another day after school. I haven't seen streamers since the sixth grade - if I fall I can totally sue you, just saying. I probably don't need your help, I'm sure it's not rocket science.
