SUMMARY
Robbie grew up in a mid-western family where everything is cut perfectly to fit the magazine-perfect middle class life. He’s unfortunately the brother of @syd-belcourt. He peaked in high school as a baseball player and had a scholarship offer waiting for him to play for a state university somewhere. He turned that down when he started volunteering at a national park and fell in love with the woods and nature.
After graduating high school, he drove out to the West Coast and spent two years there hiking and camping, mainly in Oregon and Washington state. He doesn’t like talking about the two years he was gone, but during those two years, he had acquired a certification on forestry. When he came home, his mom and dad were just so happy that he did that they didn’t really press too much on it. He enrolled into Radcliffe with his alumnus dad pulling some strings. Robbie joined a frat his first semester, and he’s been able to find a solid group of friends.
His current arc is with him just trying to get a degree so he can be a certified forester and start a a career as a park ranger.
QUICK FACTS
Robbie thinks of himself as a romantic and loves rom-coms. He likes watching them with his mom and it’s one of their few bonding activities, aside from gardening.
His favourite tree species is the Chamaecyparis lawsoniana because it’s tall.
In high school, he was really into anime secretly, especially Free!, and wished he had gone to be in the swimming team instead of the baseball team.
He’s only gotten into a relationship twice, and both were serious relationships. He’s Alll-Or-Nothing when it comes to romantic commitment. Currently, he’s in an online relationship with a girl he met on Discord.
Robbie used to love driving, but after learning how environmentally harmful and inefficient it is, he has stuck to taking public transport and walking, if he can help it. He’ll get in a car with someone, but he would never drive a car if it’s just himself.
He is their dad’s favourite. Obviously. And that’s not because they’re both Roberts.
Everyone in the Belcourt family (except for their youngest brother) are tall, and Robbie is the tallest at 6′3″. He used to press down on his sister, Sydney’s, shoulders a lot when they were growing up to make sure she doesn’t grow taller than he is.
