They will literally post on here (confidently may I added) acting like Cordelia didn't have a inappropriate relationship with Laito and they think "well she didn't sleep with him" so it not that bad like WHAT?! Laito is the way he is because of Cordelia! Cordelia mess Laito up period! They literally try so hard to downplay everything she does to any of the triplet!
I have been seeing this a lot and its honestly disgusting to see and hear about in this community. All the Diaboys have been abused some way shape or form and if you can play the games or even watch the anime and think that "they didnt get abused." means that you need actual help and I am scared for how you think with real people who go through the same.
@dialoverswritesssx You're a clown. I leave the original text in Japanese in every one of my posts in @weirdvn, and I suggested that if you see any flaws, you should point them out. But you obviously don't know Japanese; and you clearly have no idea how our translation from Japanese works, yet you dare to make claims here and spread rumors. How very cute. And dim-witted.
Honestly, you're all clowns. I never said that Laito, or anyone else from the triplets, is not a victim. I have always pointed out that Cordelia is intentionally demonized, portrayed as a pedophile-rapist. But I guess I was wasting my breath on closed-minded people like you. It's always easier to just blame the woman and ignore the complete lore of this fucking universe, and only read the routes of your favorite characters and feel sorry for them, because their vile mother hurt them and now they suffer from mommy issues, from her bullying, abuse, grooming, violence, ultra-violence, exhibitionism (after all, Richter fucked her in front of all her people, according to your English wiki), and Laito suffered the most, because he sacrificed himself so his insatiable pedo-whore mother wouldn't get her hands on his other brothers....... xD
This story is full of twisted deviations, as it's about demons, yes. But for you, apparently, the children's obsession with their mother is much worse than when she rapes them. Ok. I understand. No, I don't understand at all and I don't want to. I don't understand when people don't even want to look deeper into these characters, and even if you don't want to read all the routes, at least try to understand an opinion that didn't come out of thin air, but is actually supported by multiple proofs and sources from the games (hello, @dl-drama-cd blog, which burns all your asses and which mentally traumatized everyone in april (funny, by the way)).
The only ones engaging in victim-blaming are you. I never said the triplets are not victims. I am saying that Cordelia was also a victim. And a victim NOT of Karlheinz, who you think groomed her from a young age to use her in his experiment (what nonsense??????? who would have allowed him?? are you aware that Cordelia's father was Burai, the Demon King, and why the hell would he allow some vampire to hang around his daughter, his only child with such special blood? Because Karlheinz sent him Mené? But Mené died, sorry, what other use would he have for Karlheinz?).
You claim to salivate over the dark, truly grim aspects of this story, but when you encounter something truly dark, you puff and fart, suffering from your puritanism. You may consider yourselves progressive people who love and respect women, but when you meet a truly complex, well-written woman with a difficult fate, you don't even try to understand her properly; you, like a herd, latch onto the accepted opinion and obey it like sheep obeying their sheepdog. Every one of your dismissive messages about Cordelia reeks of misogyny; indeed, you hate women and your ideal are women like Beatrix: lying airheads, mediocrities who strive to take what belongs to others, whose death didn't even upset anyone (unlike Cordelia's death, which shocked all her sons in DF and Yui included, whose death caused shock and grief in Karlheinz when Ayato killed her the first time). You would rather foam at the mouth justifying your "poor traumatized diaboys" (quote), who could rape Yui; but Cordelia, for whom there is no solid proof that she raped anyone, whose dying wish to Ayato was for him to definitely make Yui the happiest girl on earth; who, before her death, only wanted not to ruin someone's life or abuse someone (let's remember Christa, who without any shame tried to poison Yui, in whom she saw Cordelia), but simply to see and say goodbye to her husband. Who spent her last days with her son and enjoyed only tea, not demanding lavish events in her honor. Who, unlike Christa, did not justify herself with her sorrowful fate and mental problems; who, unlike Christa, did not dump on Yui HER own responsibility to take care of Subaru, as she herself failed to do so; Cordelia told Ayato that HE should take care of Yui. Because she knows how wonderful it is when a beloved man loves you and takes care of you; and there was no stupid grooming between her and Karlheinz, which people are so desperately trying to push.
I'm just amazed at how you can hate and despise a non-real pixel woman about whom you yourselves have invented so much nonsense. Hatred for her prevents you from thinking for yourselves so much that you don't even want to listen to another point of view with gathered evidence and at least try to have adequate discussions, without negativity, outrage, and dismissive attitudes. Hatred for her makes you hate people who simply enjoy analyzing her character; and I'm afraid to think what your attitude is towards real women if you can't even empathize with a fictional one. Well, of course, she's a woman, not a boy you can cuddle and comfort, right; that boy might later, in some route, even rape Yui, but that's okay, he just had a hard childhood.
It's a shame I wasted my time on you; your level and approach to analyzing a work is astonishingly low. And discussions. And simple human communication. You don't know a damn thing about the universe you supposedly love, you don't even bother to read other routes because your unjustifiably inflated self-esteem deceives you into thinking you already know everything and are the most knowledgeable person on this planet. Well, congratulations. Continue living in your information bubble, where the lore and view of the characters hasn't changed for over ten years. A maximally dull way to spend your time.
It’s weird that first of all you tagged me ( a bit childish but not out of the realms for you , obviously) and second that you have multiple accounts which makes sense now ! I pointed out your mistranslations - which you ignored , I also showed how you are using groomer logic ( blaming children for people’s actions ) which is harmful . The reason why I thought it was a problem with translations , it because the alternative is that you would rather blame a child than admit a fully grown ( and powerful ) woman take responsibility for her actions . A of your arguments have been dismantled by multiple people multiple times . You’ve been caught making up quotes twice now , it’s so strange seeing that this is people hill to die on ? I fully understand her circumstances but I feel no empathy towards her , if you want a separate discussion with me , why not just dm me ( you seem to like talking to me am I growing on you ;) ? Baseline for what I said was : do any analysis you’d like ! Just don’t blame children !
I m a headcannon/ fanfic account , who’s using dl to learn English….. if you want my attention just say so ( also everything else in there infantil and barley even warrants a response 😬)
There's nothing childish about it, as I don't want this to move to private messages with you.
Yes, people have secondary accounts because someone has a habit of blocking people they openly talk about in their posts.
Where did you point out my translation mistakes?? I honestly looked through all your comments and didn't notice a single instance of you pointing any out. Show me the Japanese excerpt and my translation where I made a mistake.
And I never once blamed children for the actions of adults. You're gaslighting right now. I never once said that the triplets were at fault for Cordelia's actions.
Oh, I like you very much. I have a soft spot for people who completely twist my words. I don't want to move to private messages with you for one reason — I want this to remain public.
And I'll say it again: I did NOT blame the children. I only stated that they were obsessed with Cordelia, and that is no darker or more depraved an assumption than claiming she supposedly rape them.
wtfff pedo + rapist + incest хDDDDDD
+ cannibal + terrorist + dictator + the JFK shooter
You yourself said that you use translations from Japanese into Russian , when you use a program like that ( like google translate) the translation is always slightly off
You don’t think that screenshotting random peoples comments is childish and for some you’ve not even tagged? What about having a separate account where you only reblog your own content? What about actually addressing things that people say ? The screen shot you took I said it was either your translations or your morality but the third option is that you just don’t like what you see and choose to ignore it
The logic is just so brittle , your “analysis “ is long and twisted, ignoring all metaphors or allegories ( it’s like you’ve only read dl , no other vampire literature- do you really think that dl doesn’t take characteristics of other literature)
Really what are you even trying to gain from this ? Aren’t you getting a little embarrassed? I read the Spanish translation not dialoverstranslation and I’ve played the games from a disc server drive that I’m on 😬 you don’t have to say it directly , it’s what you imply with your words
Bro, you good? The translations are done manually by people who KNOW Japanese. What made you think the translation goes through any machine apps???
You're all talking bullshit and I want to capture your shame, why wouldn't I be able to do that? Because dialoverswritesssx thinks it's childish? And why on earth do you think the translation is done through Google? You have a lot of stupid assumptions you're pulling out of thin air, what's that about? You can tell me, I like you a lot.
Right now you're engaging in sophistry. A lot of empty words. Break down the analysis and point out what's illogical about it. I'm also familiar with other vampire works, good morning. I don't understand this take. Does every vampire work absolutely have to have a female character who rapes her own child? Or in every vampire work, does bloodsucking = sex? No, on the contrary, I've seen in every vampire work that blood is necessary food, without which they can die. It's often sexualized, yes. But, as I said before, you can sexualize pretty much anything. Elaborate on this take and what you mean by it.
I'm trying to achieve that this pixel woman stops being considered a rapist and a pedophile 🫶🏻 And no, I'm not ashamed. Why should I be ashamed that you all ganged up on me like a herd over an alternative opinion, lol. Maybe you're the ones who should be ashamed.
This is just getting funny more and more funny now , yes keep ignoring everything people are saying ! You are such an activist! ( obviously I was referring to your “ bloodsucking doesn’t equal sexuality “ , it’s ok I see now there’s no point in arguing with you mija, keep coming out of its I see now it’s just you ! With your same 3 conversations since it looks like you don’t even understand your own retoric
They will literally post on here (confidently may I added) acting like Cordelia didn't have a inappropriate relationship with Laito and they think "well she didn't sleep with him" so it not that bad like WHAT?!
Small reminder that Ayato desired Cordelia as a woman
Here is an excerpt from Ayato's MB Dark Prologue:
ライト:......アヤトくんさあ、欲しいものがあるならちゃーんと言わなきゃだめだよ?
Laito: ... Ayato-kun, if you desire something, you should tell about it, shouldn't you?
Ayato: Desire?... Why, all of a sudden.
Laito: Does Ayato-kun really desire only the best block castle?
Laito: I guess it's something different.
Ayato: Ha-a? I don't understand what are you talking about.
Laito: Nfu-fu...
Cordelia: ...Fu-fu, you want to obtain me that badly?
Man А: Yes, very much...
This is the most popular method among writers when another character answers the thoughts of the MC. This methodics always works clearly and implies one thing.
Conversation between the guest and Cordelia answers us what Ayato really wants.
Just as the guest wants to get Cordelia, so does Ayato, he wants to get Cordelia as a woman.
And it is simply impossible to deny that it was not her motherly love that he desired. Denying this is the same as denying DL's canon.
Cordelia inside Yui resisted Laito. Laito saw a resemblance between Yui's resistance and his mother's
In the first game, Cordelia manifested through Yui during the story block scenes (07-10), when we chose S-answers. How can you tell that Cordelia is the one answering for the heroine or somehow influencing her response? Most often,Yui would notice afterward that her mouth seemed to move on its own or that she had done something unexpected.
In Laito's route, the peak moment becomes his statement in response to Yui's words: "Stop it!"
Laito: Nfu. When you talk like that, it feels more and more like you resemble "that person."
And here, by 「あの人」 (that person), he is definitely referring to Cordelia. This happens in DL Laito Ecstasy 10 — in the last scene with a choice of answer in his route. Unfortunately, if you get a bad ending and don't have enough points, this scene won't open. Or if you are on the M-path, the S-answers are automatically skipped. In that case, the player doesn't learn what the entire chain of sadistic answers and Laito's reactions in his route was leading to. And these answers are very important, because they reveal Cordelia — even better than the flashbacks do.
Just think: when Yui pushes Laito away and tells him to "stop," she resembles Cordelia. This means that Cordelia also once pushed someone away — one of the men or Laito himself. Simply the fact: resistance = resemblance to Cordelia.
Since this scene is the culmination of all the S-answers, we can draw certain conclusions about Yui's other sadistic answers as well: they are also connected to Cordelia's behavior. So let's go back to the beginning of the route and trace all the sadistic answers.
• DL Laito Dark 07: During the full moon, Laito properly tastes Yui's blood for the first time and recognizes its taste. We are given a choice just as Laito is about to bite us: we can say "drink my blood" (M), or we can say "I allow you to drink my blood, are you satisfied?" (S). With the S-answer, Laito will note that this arrogant behavior is strange for Yui, but he liked her self-confidence like that too — and not without reason. Yui realizes that this answer only inflamed Laito's desires.
Yui: (It's irritating always being on the receiving end, so sometimes... I have to fight back!)
Yui: W-well, since there's no helping it, I'll let you drink! Is that okay?
Laito: Hee-hee-hee. Even though you're Bitch-chan, you try to act important – it doesn't suit you.
Laito: But sometimes, from such dominance, one starts to tremble. Nfu.
Yui: (Instead – he just got provoked!..)
• DL Laito Dark 08: The scene where Laito forced Yui to read Richter's bloody-erotic poetry. The M-action is to read it out of desperation, the S-choice is to refuse. In the case of the sadistic answer, Cordelia's direct influence isn't yet obvious; however, Laito will remark that such boldness has aroused him. And again, not without reason.
Yui: No way. There's no doubt it's something bad anyway.
Laito: Nfu. That's nice. Bitch-chan. That resolute side of you... it gets me a little excited too.
Yui: D-don't get excited!
Laito: Nfu. Even though you said it to get me excited... Ah, Bitch-chan. You can curse me out more, okay?
Yui: (O-oh no! Just as I thought, he ended up pleased...!)
• DL Laito Dark 09: In the church, Laito remarks that he sees passionate desires within Yui's soul. You can agree in response (M-Choice), or you can shut him up (S-Choice): Yui will state it as if Laito himself wants something cruel done to him — and then the boy will only become aroused and admit that he has a weakness for such things.
It's here that Cordelia begins to gain the upper hand in such moments. And, importantly, she does not intend to agree with Laito's words about passionate desires.
Yui: ...Shut up!
Laito: ?!
Yui: While I've been holding back, you just keep talking and talking...
Yui: Isn't it you who actually wants to be treated cruelly!?
Laito: Hmph... Ahahahahaha, Bitch-chan, nice. I don't dislike that kind of 'play'.
Laito: That might be true. You see, I've always been... weak... for that kind of thing...
Yui: (Maybe I just excited him even more...?)
• DL Laito Dark 10: In the dungeon, the topic of jealousy comes up — Laito considers it normal. He frightens the heroine by saying that nothing can stop him. Yui doesn't like this: "Won't stop... That kinda pisses me off... Hasn't he gone too far?"
For the M-response, you can say "There's nothing I can do about it," or you can blurt out "I'll punish you" (S). Again, the guy will only like it.
Yui: "...I'll punish you."
Yui: ("Wait! What am I saying?! First of all, jealousy... this is completely absurd!")
Laito: "Nfu. Fine. In fact, I'd welcome that."
Yui: "っ……?!"
Yui: "...?!"
Laito: "But in return, when we fall, we fall together. I'll take you with me, Bitch-chan. Be prepared."
Yui: ("No way...!")
• DL Laito Maniac 07: After the conversation with Richter, Laito begins to angrily pressure the girl, forcing her to confess everything. You can either remain submissive or "fight back": Yui will say she doesn't know anything and immediately be surprised at how sharply she said it — meaning Cordelia is beginning to manifest herself more and more. Laito, once again, will like this behavior of hers.
Yui: "Enough already! I'm telling you I don't know anything!"
Laito: "……っ……"
Laito: "......"
Yui: "(...!? That came out much harsher than I intended...)"
Laito: "I don't dislike this kind of Bitch-chan either. Nfu."
え!?
Yui:"Eh!?"
Laito:"Nfufu, well, whatever. The night has only just begun..."
Laito: "I'll hear you out thoroughly. In my room."
• DL Laito Maniac 08: At school, Laito mockingly asks Yui how she feels after what happened and whether it was more pleasurable than "the usual" (yes, he raped the heroine in a previous scene). You can nod in response (M), or you can slap him and shut him up (S). This "outburst" stuns them both: Yui admits she only meant to object verbally, and Laito — will be delighted; he likes it. More and more, Cordelia is controlling Yui's actions: it was she who slapped her son, not Yui.
Yui: Ugh, I only meant to say it, but my hand moved on its own)
Teacher: Hey, what's going on?
Yui: S-sorry. It's nothing. It's just that a mosquito landed on his cheek...
Laito: ...I'm shocked. To get slapped by Bitch-chan...
Laito: Nfu, but it's a little... pleasurable.
• DL Laito Maniac 09: Laito starts a conversation about his theories on why Yui was chosen as the sacrificial bride. And he teases her mockingly. Choice:Either beg him to tell you, or demand it — in the second case, the MC, besides saying "Tell me!", will also threaten him with punishment if he doesn't. Laito will like her reaction again, and Yui will note: it's as if she's spouting some nonsense.
Yui:...Tell me! If you don't do it right now... I'll punish you!
Laito:!..
Yui:(What am I even saying?!)
Laito: Mmm... nice... Nfu. Say more. I want you to insult me, Bitch-chan. Come on! More...!
Yui: (I thought I'd get scolded, but he seemed pleased instead)
• DL Laito Maniac 10: After putting a chastity belt on Yui, Laito starts to tease the girl. Choice:You can either beg him to stop, or retort with "Stop it, you pervert!": Laito will really like this title, and Yui will then be surprised at what she just said. It was Cordelia who blurted it out for her again.
Yui: Stop it, you hentai!
Yui: (?!.. What am I saying?!)
Laito: "Hentai," huh... Nfufufu, it has a rather nice ring to it. A splendid title indeed.
Laito: Why, you can go ahead and call me "hentai" forever, you know?
Yui: I'll pass...
• DL Laito Ecstasy 07: After talking about the other brides, Laito will emphasize that only Yui has reached the stage of awakening. However, the girl dislikes such remarks, which are said mockingly. We can either thank Laito for this (M), or we step on his foot while admitting it hardly pleases her: Yui will be surprised that she did such a thing, and Laito, pleased by the pain, will compare her to a troublesome princess.
Of course. Here is the translation, with the Japanese text preserved.
Yui:...I can hardly be happy about that.
Laito:?!... Wh-what the...!? Did you... step on my foot?
っ……
Yui: ...
Yui: (I accidentally did more than I intended...) …………
Laito:...Heh. But... this pain... isn't so bad, maybe.
Yui:?!...
Laito: Nfu...
Yui: (This guy... maybe he's actually a real masochist after all...)
Laito: Phew, my my, what a troublesome princess. Aren't you the one getting aggressive here? Even though I'm the victim right now.
• DL Laito Ecstasy 08: Cordelia finally awakens and speaks with the heroine. However, when choosing the response to the S-request ["kill me"], no influence from the woman is observed.
• DL Laito Ecstasy 09: In the torture room, Laito stages a show, watching as Ayato drinks from Yui. During this, we either beg him to stop or harshly command ["stop it!"]. Here, too, Cordelia did not control the girl's response, however, Laito liked Yui's once again arrogant remark.
Yui:...Stop it!
Laito: Nfu. That condescending tone... I don't hate it... but... enduring this is true love, right. Chu.
Yui: (As if I'd let you fool me with something like this...!)
• And so, DL Laito Ecstasy 10 is the finale of the chain of Yui's S-responses, which were either dictated by Cordelia's will or resembled her in action. Laito begins to touch Yui after she accidentally drinks an aphrodisiac — and he wants to hear more insults directed at himself. It's strange that fans overlook how Laito notes the resemblance between Yui and his mother, thereby almost explicitly telling us that resistance = Cordelia's behavior. And all of this excites him because it reminds him of his so-called "beloved" in this way.
Yui: Stop it! Don't do that.
Laito: Nfu. When you talk like that, I get the feeling you're more and more like her.
Laito: I'm in the mood to be scolded more. You're truly a wicked girl for making me feel this way.
But that's not all. Besides the S-responses, Cordelia sometimes manifests herself through Yui in other moments. As a rule, we hear a heartbeat beforehand.
• DL Laito Dark 03: Cordelia inside Yui fights back against Laito after he pinned the girl down with his magical forces so that she couldn't resist. At first, Yui didn't understand why she had frozen, but after a heartbeat, she was able to push Laito away — which surprised even herself.
Laito: Bitch-chan, is this okay? At this rate, you'll really be stripped of your underwear too.
Yui: No way, that's not happening!
Laito: Then why don't you resist? If you fight back with all your might… you could probably shake me off, couldn't you?
Yui: !..
Laito: So why aren't you doing that?
Yui: …Wh… why?
Yui: (Why? But… my body is as stiff as a rock… I can't resist)
Yui: (Why? Is this… fear? Or…)
Yui: heartbeat!!!
Yui: (My heart… so suddenly!..)
Laito: Bitch-chan? What's wrong?
Yui: N… nothing… got it!
そう?
Laito: Really?
Yui: (What’s with… this pounding of my heart… it’s been happening so often since I came to this mansion…)
Yui: (Is it some… illness? Or…)
Laito: Well, whatever. If you don’t resist, it saves me the trouble… and that means…
Laito: …I can enjoy myself more, can’t I?
Yui: !!!... Stop it!...
Laito: Ow!
Yui: Ah, s… sorry!...
Laito: …I should punish you for that pain, though… What shall we do for fun?
By the way, just before that, Laito even suggested that Yui throw a stew at him.
Laito: Get angry, get angry! If you want, I don't even mind if you throw that pot of stew simmering on the fire at me!
Yui:S-something like that...! Laito:Because if you're truly angry and hate it, you'd do at least that much, right? Hey, come on, hurry up~!
• DL Laito Dark 04: Cordelia inside Yui bites Laito's lip when he forcibly kisses her.
Yui: (A kiss...!? He's kissing me...!?)
Laito: Mmmph... mmm...
Yui: S...stop it...!

Laito:...!
Yui: (A-ah, his lip... I bit it...)
Laito: That hurts... To think you'd bite my lip... kukuku. For the first time in a long while, I've finally gotten a taste of what it feels like to be alive.
Yui:...I-I'm so-sorry...
Thanks to all these responses, we understand not only that Cordelia within Yui was pushing Laito away when he made advances, but also that Cordelia acted this way with her son in the past. Otherwise, Laito wouldn’t see such a resemblance and rejoice, marveling at this similarity.
From this, we understand that in the past, Cordelia:
1. Scolded Laito ("I want you to scold me more" in DL Laito Ecstasy 10, "I want you to scold me, Bitch-chan" in DL Laito Maniac 09).
2. Threatened punishment ("I'll punish you" in DL Laito Dark 10, "If you don't stop now... I'll punish you!" in DL Laito Maniac 09).
3. Demanded he stop ("Stop it, you pervert!" in DL Laito Maniac 10, "...Stop it!" in DL Laito Ecstasy 09, "Stop this!" in DL Laito Ecstasy 10).
4. Could physically stop him (a slap in DL Laito Maniac 08, pushing him away in DL Laito Dark 03, biting his lip in DL Laito Dark 04, stepping on his foot in DL Laito Ecstasy 07).
5. Sobered him up by calling him a pervert ("Stop it, you pervert!" in DL Laito Maniac 10).
6. Refused him sharply ("No way" in DL Laito Dark 08, "Enough! Didn’t I say I don’t know anything?" in DL Laito Maniac 07).
7. Could yell at him ("Ah, Bitch-chan, yell at me louder, okay?" in DL Laito Maniac 08).
It’s important not only that Cordelia pushed Laito away both in the present and in the past. What’s crucial is Laito’s reaction to this resistance: he rejoices. He enjoys it when Yui (Cordelia) scolds him and calls him a pervert. The words "I'll punish you" and "stop" only arouse him more. Even the slap, the bitten lip, and the pain — he enjoys it all.
In other words, if Cordelia resisted her son in the past in this way, it was futile: Laito enjoyed all of this and it couldn’t stop him.
And therefore, if Cordelia decided to control him through her blood, there’s nothing surprising about it.
A weak woman can’t influence a son who is much stronger than her and desires her. If physical confrontation, verbal demands to stop, and threats of punishment have no effect on him.
However, such behavior from Laito is not his fault. Perhaps this obsession with her blood is connected to the concept of a "thrall" in the canon.
This post is a fragment from a larger article investigating whether there was a sexual relationship between Laito and Cordelia. I recommend checking it out.

• DL Laito Dark 04: Cordelia inside Yui bites Laito's lip when he forcibly kisses her.
Yui: (A kiss...!? He's kissing me...!?)
Laito: Mmmph... mmm...

Marriage Norms in Diabolik Lovers: Monogamy vs. Polygamy
In the Diabolik Lovers canon, monogamy is presented as the expected social norm, while polygamy is a rare exception that is viewed negatively.
1. Gisbach (Progenitor King): Strictly Monogamous
· Single Wife: Krone was his only wife, officially titled his Empress (后).
· Children: She bore his only two sons, Carla and Shin.
· Mene's Status: Mene was his sister, once betrothed to him, but he never married her or took her as a concubine. The title "favored concubine" (寵姫) used for Krone by a pureblood vampire is considered an error or mischaracterization.
Sources: DF Carla Maniac Prologue/Epilogue, CD Drama Dark Fate Vol.1, LE Shin Maniac Epilogue.
2. Karlheinz: The Exception (Polygamy)
· Three Wives: His marriages to Cordelia, Christa, and Beatrix are the central example of polygamy.
· Widely Condemned: His polygamy is the source of his reputation as a "philanderer" and is met with scorn:
By his peers: Mocked by Gisbach (LE Subaru Maniac Epilogue) and Richter.
By his sons: The Sakamaki brothers speak of their father's marriages with contempt and confusion.
· Cordelia originally desired to be Karlheinz's only wife (First Game, MB Ayato Maniac Prologue).
· Christa also wanted to be his one and only beloved wife (MB Subaru Maniac Prologue).
Sources: MB Ayato/Subaru Maniac Prologue, MB Prologue, MB Reiji Maniac Epilogue, LE Kino Prologue, LE Subaru Maniac Epilogue.
3. Bray (Demon King): Likely Monogamous
· Implied Heir: Cordelia was his daughter and heir, suggesting she may have been his only child, as the title passed to her husband Karlheinz instead of a son.
· Mene's Status: Richter's conflicting titles for Mene (寵姫 / 后 of Bray) create uncertainty but do not confirm polygamy.
· Successor: The snake clan's throne later went to Zweig, whose relation to Bray is unclear, further implying Bray may have had no direct male heirs.
Sources: First Game, DF Main Prologue.
4. Younger Generation: Firmly Monogamous
· Reiji could not understand the reason behind his father's marriage to Beatrix (MB Reiji Maniac Epilogue).
· The Sakamaki brothers are vehemently against the idea of sharing a partner. Each desires Yui to belong only to him.
· The Sakamaki sons expressed contempt for their father's polygamy. Ayato scoffed that their father had three wives, each of whom bore him children.
· Concepts like "blood triplets" are presented as abnormal and are rejected by Yui.
· The maids too rejected Laito's proposal of a polygamous arrangement where he would move from one to the other when he got bored. Each of them wanted to be his only partner.
Based on the article: https://vk.com/@cordekarl-pervaya-zhena-karlhainca-kordeliya-ili-beatriks
So, to sum it up, polygamy is not the norm and is treated as a negative aberration. Monogamous, exclusive relationships are consistently portrayed as the desired standard across generations, with Karlheinz's triple marriage serving as the notable exception that proves this rule and directly causing his poor reputation.
Regarding Character Surnames. Nationality and Racial Belonging
Why are the surnames "Sakamaki" and "Tsukinami" not used with the parents' names?
Sakamaki Kanato, Sakamaki Shu, Sakamaki Ayato... It sounds right, doesn't it? Sakamaki Richter, Sakamaki Cordelia, Sakamaki Christa... How awful, don't you think?
From anime, games, and other sources, we know that Karlheinz's six sons bear the surname Sakamaki. At the same time, it's said that this surname is only used in the human world and nowhere else. And also that the older brothers cannot bear it. How true is all of this?
Currently, the brothers live in the human world. Among their father's personas is that of the politician "Sakamaki Tougo" — this was mentioned even in the first game. That is, in the eyes of ordinary people, the six boys are the sons of this highly respected Sakamaki Tougo.
However, I have noticed multiple times that this surname is used in the Demon World as well, coming from the mouths of demons. For example, in the second game, Beatrix tells Shu that he is the "future head of the Sakamaki family" (MB Shu Ecstasy Epilogue), and in Dark Fate, one of the demons addresses Kanato as "Sakamaki Kanato" (DF Kanato Vampire End). And this action takes place in the Demon World.
The male vampire C calls Kanato "Sakamaki Kanato". The scene takes place in the Demon World. DF Kanato Vampire End.
And if we look at the fanbook for, say, the first game, in Cordelia's profile we see: "The first wife of the head of the Sakamaki family, Karlheinz." It turns out that not only the inhabitants of the human world know about this persona. So what's the deal?
Despite the fact that the surname Sakamaki is mentioned by demons as well, I have never noticed any of the secondary characters being called either "Sakamaki Richter" or "Tsukinami Gisbach." For now, we can assume that they are referred to as the "Sakamaki family" by the creators themselves for the convenient designation of belonging to one family — after all, we also have the Mukami and Tsukinami families. Speaking of Tsukinami:the combination of a purely Japanese surname and a purely English name also looks discordant — "Tsukinami Carla." But in the game, the brothers introduce themselves as returnees who left England, and this at least somewhat explains it.
But what about the Sakamakis? And why were the parents given European names, while the children were given Japanese ones? In Dark Fate, the creators corrected this flaw. It is hinted at in Shu's route and explained in detail in Yuma's route that vampires actually have true names¹. Thus, Shu's vampire name is Lilie: the German word for the lily flower. In Lost Eden, Kou's true name is revealed to be Emilio. Yuma, as we know, was formerly Edgar.
The surnames "Sakamaki" or "Tsukinami" are never used together with the names of any of the older generation: Karlheinz, Cordelia, Beatrix, Christa, Richter are not Sakamaki, and Gisbach, Krone, Mene, Fersen are not Tsukinami.
Whereas the names of the main characters are listed in the fanbooks as 'Reiji Sakamaki', 'Yuma Mukami', 'Carla Tsukinami', the secondary characters are listed simply as 'Karlheinz', 'Cordelia', 'Beatrix', 'Christa', 'Richter'.
MEANING OF THE SURNAMES
•「逆巻」 = [sakamaki] = "Sakamaki"
「逆巻く」= [sakamaku] means "to surge/roll against the current (of waves)". It's essentially a hint that the family is going "against something". There is also another interpretation I noticed a long time ago but initially didn't include in the article. 「逆」 can be translated as "reverse, against", and one of the meanings of 「巻」 is "to wind (a clock)".
This alludes to how Karlheinz turned back time again and again, winding his clock of time. However: 1. This only started from the second game, but already in the first game our boys were "Sakamaki"; 2. Still, a complete phrase is a complete phrase. Although the creators could well have noticed a specific play on words within the surname, which they might have used while developing the scenario for More,Blood.
The Sakamaki family crest features the 「祝福の剣」 = "Sword of Blessing" (CD drama Sadistic Song vol.5 + annotation). It was passed down through generations in their family, and only those born from the power of the Eden's World Tree and who obtained that power could touch it. The crest depicts a vampire with "wings spread wide," which "protect" the sword. A "ribbon" wrapping around it can also be seen.
The Sakamaki family crest is not the same as the vampire clan's crest: the vampire crest was shown to us in the manga YB vol.6.
The Sakamaki family crest and the Vampire clan crest.
The Sakamaki motto: 'Seeking eternity' = 「永遠を求めよ」 (PV House of Vampire).
• 「無神」 = [mukami] = "Mukami"
Literally 'godless'. It fully corresponds to the worldview and fate of the brothers.
On the Mukami crest, one can see a large sword in the center and four smaller rapiers/sabers on either side of it.
The Mukami motto: 'The Honorable Sword will never break' = 「誉れ高き剣は折れぬ」 (PV House of Vampire).
• 「月浪」 = [tsukinami] = "Tsukinami"
「月」 as "moon, month" and 「浪」 as "large wave" or a part of words meaning "to wander." Considering that the progenitors present themselves in the human world both as Tsukinami and as returnees from England, their surname can be interpreted as "those who wander under the moon," "moon wanderers" (or "moon wave").
The Tsukinami crest depicts a wolf inside a crescent moon.
The Tsukinami motto: 'I can dominate the moon' = 「我ら月を司る」 (PV House of Vampire).
• 「小森」 = [komori] = "Komori"
You can choose any name for the heroine in the game;by default, she is 'Komori Yui'. The girl has an interesting surname: the kanji 「小」 (the syllable 'ko') gives words and phrases the meaning of "small" and "modest," and 「森」, that is [mori], means "forest" or "temple grove."
At the same time, there are several other words in the Japanese language that sound similar but have completely different meanings. Therefore, if you don't know the spelling of Yui's surname, it can lead to some amusing wordplay. For example, [kōmori], with a long first syllable, is the word 「蝙蝠」 = "bat (of the order Chiroptera)". [komori] also sounds like 「子守」 = "childcare," "nanny". There is also the word 「お籠り」 = [o-komori] = "a night spent in prayer at a temple." Considering Yui's story, this becomes very interesting and doesn't seem like a coincidence.
• Kino
Kino had several coats of arms. The last one depicts a heart split into two halves, wrapped in a stem with thorns.
Kino's motto: 'Death knows everything' = 「死こそ、知る」 (PV House of Vampire).
He does not belong to the Sakamaki family, and this surname is never used with his name.
On the official website's character list², he is the only one listed without a surname.
NATIONALITY AND RACE OF THE CHARACTERS
Sakamaki, Tsukinami, Kino, and other demons The Sakamaki brothers, Tsukinami brothers, and Kino have no nationality — they are demons, not humans, and were born as demons. Each character belongs to their own demonic clan/race.
· Thus, Karlheinz, Richter, and Christa are vampires.
· Therefore, all six Sakamaki brothers (Shu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, Subaru) are also vampires (members of the bat clan).
· Cordelia always considered herself a half-vampire and the daughter of the Demon King Burai, who by race is a Bibora (snake clan). However, it turned out she had no relation to the vampire clan: her mother was a Progenitor — this is the First Blood clan (more details in the article "Titles and Race of Cordelia, Her Father and Mother. Titles of Karlheinz"³).
· The Tsukinami brothers (Carla and Shin), as well as their parents and relatives: Gisbach (father), Krone (mother), Mene (Cordelia's mother), Fersen (uncle) are also Progenitors. However, in Shin's route in the game Lost Eden, the purity of the younger Tsukinami's blood was questioned: there was a possibility that he was half-Wolf (wolf clan), but this turned out not to be the case (in reality, Shin is a pureblood Progenitor).
· Yui's child with Shin (Adam) was born a Progenitor (DF Ruki Brute End).
· Theoretically, the child of Yui (Eve) and the one who became Adam should be born as a member of a new race (more details in the article "On Karlheinz's Plan 'Project Eden's Apple' / 'Project Adam's Apple"⁴).
· Kino considers himself a vampire, but in reality, it's difficult to explain what kind of creature he is: according to church officials, he was, like a Ghoul, created from the miasma of Rotigenberg from a physical particle of Karlheinz, but unlike them, he possesses immense power even for a standard vampire (though he is definitely not a vampire).
· Other members of the Vampire race also include: Beatrix, Walter.
· From the Bibora race (snake clan): Zweig, Burai.
· From the Wolf race: Ebert, Gottfried.
· From the First Blood race: Pestie.
· From the Ghouls (including turned ones): Yuri, Leona, Lux, Ruki's father.
Mukami and other humans
Those characters who are human or were human before being turned have their own nationality.
· Yui, according to Shu's mention, is "Asian": 「東洋人」 = "Easterner" (DL Shu Ending 01). Kou called her 「日本人」 = "Japanese" (MB Kou Maniac Prologue).
· Her father, Seiji, judging by his name, should be Japanese.
· Azusa once wandered with gypsies, but it was not stated that he is of Romani nationality himself.
· When Ruki in Lost Eden returned to his city to find out more about Trismegistus (Karlheinz's persona), he went to a 「ルーマニアの図書館」 = "Romanian library". In theory, he was born and raised in Romania. And if the other Mukami lived in the same city, then they should also be from Romania. Edgar (Yuma) grew up in a village, but it's unlikely he could have escaped to another country after the fire. The fact that Azusa lived with gypsies for a time also reinforces the impression that the events take place in Romania: "gypsies" most likely refer to the Roma people. Incidentally: back in the first game, Seiji mentioned his return to Eastern Europe in the general prologue of the game, and in the ending DL Shu Ending 01, Shu spoke of escaping with Yui to 「トランシルヴァニア」 = Transylvania, the once sacred lands of vampires.
· However, there is a catch here: even if Ruki, his parents, Kou (aka Emilio), his mother Leona, Yuma (aka Edgar), his parents, the neighbor Alan, Azusa with Justin, Melissa, and Christina — even if all of them lived in Romania, it is not a fact that they are Romanian by nationality: they could very well be immigrants.
· The Mukami brothers are currently "half-vampires" — turned vampires. Leona, Ruki's father, Lux are turned ghouls.
· The Tsukinami brothers, upon entering Ryotei Academy in Dark Fate, introduced themselves as "returnees from England." However, in reality, they are neither Japanese nor English, as they are not human.

Why did Cordelia NOT 'have sex with Richter in front of Kanato and Laito'?
Part Two: LAITO
Part One: Kanato is still being edited
According to the myths, Kanato wasn't the only one who witnessed his mother's "intimate relationship" with her "lover" - Laito supposedly saw a lot of things, too. But no matter what the fandom makes up for drama's sake, it's really not that bad: the youngest triplet was just unlucky enough to witness Cordelia giving Richter her blood. It happened in the DL Laito Maniac Prologue.
Sometime in the past, Karlheinz ordered his son imprisoned in a dungeon - for what exactly, by the way, is not explained here or in the game.
The scene begins with Richter's poems, which serve as an epigraph.
After that, Laito is shown on a black background — he is talking to the butler:
一出せ! ボクを......ここから出せ!!
Laito: Let me out! Let me out... From here!!!
Butler: That's impossible, young master. Our esteemed lord has strictly ordered it.
Butler: I apologize, you will have to stay here for a while.
Laito: Tell me, what's the point of restraining me here?
Butler: — Please excuse me, now me out.
Laito: Ha, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. You marazm old man. You want me to do some self-analysis here? What a stupid thing!
Laito: There is heresy. You've been consorting out with people to such an extent that your brains are completely rotten!
Then suddenly, against a black background, we see Cordelia:
ーーあら?
Cordelia: Oh?
The background of the dungeon appears. Laito rejoices (but not for long):
Laito: ...?! Come to save me?
Cordelia: Oh, haha. I'm sorry, Laito, but it's not like that.
え?
Laito: Eh?
Richter: — Why are you here?
Laito: tsk... I'm the one who has to ask [literally: "that's my line"].
Cordelia: Okay, okay, that's enough. Don't "quarrel." Much more important, Richter... Come quickly.
Laito: ?!
Laito's sprite disappears - Richter's sprite appears in its place:
しかし...…
Richter: But cos...
Cordelia: Since you're not in the mood, I'm leaving.
Richter: tsk! P-please wait!
Cordelia: Oh. Ah-ha-ha... you don't want me to leave so badly?
Richter: Of course. I'm... for your sake...
Cordelia: I know. Come on, hurry up. The anticipation is making me... "burn"(literally "hot")... *rustling*
Richter: Cordelia... love you.
Cordelia: Ah ha ha, Richter... Me too.
Laito: tsk?!…
Richter: tsk... Cordelia...
Cordelia: M-m... listen, Laito. You're a good boy.
And again, instead of Richter, next to Cordelia, we see a sprite Laito:
......!!
Laito: ...!!!
Cordelia: Yes, Laito?
...…
Laito: ...
Cordelia's sprite disappears, the background of the dungeon is replaced with black - Laito begins to smile and think:
Laito: ...Yeah. That's right. I... I... am a "good" boy.
Laito: — That's why something like that... rather unconsciously exciting.
This is where the flashback ends.
All the fans then decided — and still believe — that Cordelia decided to have sex with Richter in front of her son — and forced the boy, as a "good boy," to watch the copulation. I would agree with this point of view — if our heroes were not vampires, but ordinary people, and if the story was not based on the fetish of drinking blood. Since the process of absorbing blood is eroticized according to the canon, then only he could be implied in this scene.
We hear the rustle of clothes — this sound always accompanies the blood-drinking scenes when the boys expose the neck, back and other parts of the heroine's body, into which they are going to dig their fangs.
That is, the rustle cannot be considered proof that Cordelia took off her dress or Richter lifted her skirts — for that very specific purpose.
Also, Cordelia utters a line that many took as a desire to have sex soon:
「待ち焦がれてアタシ...... 熱いわ......」:
• 「待ち焦がれて <= 待ち焦がれる」 — 'to be impatient for, to wait (anxiously) for, to eagerly look forward to, to long for'
• 「アタシ」 — «me»
「熱い」 = «hot»
• 「熱い」 — "hot," "ardent, passionate; in love."
But according to the canon, the body can burn from the expectation of blood drinking. There are many examples of this.
In the Short Story 'Fairytale' from Kanato Character Book, Kanato says:
もう温度は失われてしまった血だけど、どんなお菓子よりも癖になるほどの美味しさは変わらない。
"Her blood had already lost its temperature, but her deliciousness had not changed, the dependence on which was greater than on any candy."
According to the context, Yui's blood turned cold. And it's much more pleasant for a vampire to drink hot. Subaru told us about this in MB Subaru Ecstasy 07:
お前は血を飲まないから知らないだろうが……
Subaru: You don't know because you don't drink blood.…
Subaru: The blood of a human bursting with heat is hot and delicious. And now you're burning up after taking a bath.
In this case, Yui got hot with the help of a bath. But there were other ways mentioned in the canon. For example, with the help of fangs, the body begins to burn from the bite.
MB Ruki Dark 03:
Yui: (... When Ruki-kun drinks my blood...)
Yui: (I wonder if he also gets a strange feeling, as if his body is... starting to burn)
MB Ruki Ecstasy 04:
Yui: With drinking... m... blood…
Yui: It seems like a body... loses strength... But it's getting hot…
In CL Laito Story 07, the triplets used fire to "prepare" Yui's blood.
However, body temperature does not rise only after a bite. The mere anticipation of it, the expectation of blood-drinking, according to the characters' remarks, contributes to the "hot":
MB Subaru Ecstasy 07:
Subaru: No. You must be feeling the heat right where I'm touching.
Subaru: Yui... you're asking for it.
Subaru: My fangs... m...
Everywhere 「熱」 in the context of the state of the body during blood-drinking.
It turns out that the fact that Yui feels the heat even before the fangs sink, betrays her desire to feel them in herself. And in the flashback with Cordelia and Richter, everything is similar: her body "burns with expectation" — it allegedly asks, craves a bite.
In MB Kou Heaven 03, Yui admitted that her body was getting hotter from the desire to drink her blood, and directly asked Kou to do it.
Yui: (Mmm... My body's heating up... It wants... for blood to be drunk!...)
Laito said the same thing in his very first CD drama ドS吸血CD Vol.4 逆巻ライト:
[17:44] "As I slowly run my tongue over it, I can definitely tell that right underneath it, your blood starts to bubble and flow to the surface, slowly heating up in those spots... whispering to me, begging me to flow into my body sooner rather than later."
[18:07] "Your blood is so hot, huh? It must be so happy, because it will turn into energy circulating through my veins? It's worth getting close to you, and your blood starts begging to drink it."
[18:58] "But no matter how scared you are, it's worth remembering the pleasure of me eating you... as your body slowly starts to hot up, right? The pleasure of me dominating you, desiring you..."
From the anticipation of the moment when the fangs sink into the heroine's body, it heats up = burns. But did Cordelia herself "burn" = desire the fangs in this way?
And now let's remember: in the first game, Cordelia asked little Kanato to sing, because his singing made her "body start to burn" (DL Kanato Ecstasy Prologue). Many still claim with full confidence that the first wife was sexually aroused by her son's voice. But it's not about "sexual arousal": she simply prepared her cold blood for blood drinking, made it hot in this way. Cordelia, unlike Yui, is also a demon — we realized from the anime that vampires have icy skin.
(It seems that the touches or fangs of the men who drank her could hardly kindle a "flame" in her and make her blood boil, since they had to resort to such sophisticated methods).
DL Sequel Kanato
Similarly, in DL Laito Maniac Epilogue, Cordelia responds to Laito's words by asking him to "give her some warmth":
DL Laito Maniac Epilogue:
Cordelia: Today, I am terribly cold... and I want your warmth.
Of course, by analogy with all the examples discussed above, it's clear that the conversation is about blood-drinking, which Cordelia also used to control Laito. But why was she so cold?
Abnormal cold was often felt by other DL characters — Kanato and Shu. The cold is a consequence of their loneliness and despair.
DL Kanato Maniac 07:
Kanato: This isn't enough... That's why... whenever it rains, I get so cold, so, so cold...!
Kanato: My coldness... my loneliness, my despair...! This isn't enough to heal them...!
Yui: (...Loneliness and despair?...)
Kanato feels this eerie cold during the rain — it was on a rainy night that he burned his mother's corpse (DL Kanato Ecstasy Epilogue), hoping to make her exclusively his. Now, looking at Teddy, which holds her ashes, he understands that he only received "remains," which are "not enough" for him.
This is the answer to the question of why Cordelia asked Kanato to sing to her and felt terribly cold: it wasn't about sexual arousal at all; she felt the same coldness from her own despair and loneliness.
We've established that the body of a victim or a demon can literally burn from a bite or the anticipation of bloodsucking.
Now we need to understand what excites Laito, what arouses him: is it when he watches someone else drink from or have sex with his victim?
In his own route, there's a scene where he precisely recreates something he once saw in the dungeon — DL Laito Ecstasy 09. In this scene, Yui finds herself in a torture chamber, where she meets Ayato. He tries to advise her to "do it" and not to "remain faithful" to Laito.
DL Laito Ecstasy 09:
Ayato: I heard... that you're about to awaken. So, I thought, why not a little taste test?
Yui: A taste test...!?
Ayato: Half human and half vampire. I wonder what that taste is like.
Ayato: Let me do it.
Yui: No... absolutely not.
Ayato: What, are you preserving your chastity/fidelity? Heh-heh-heh. If it's for him [Laito], isn't that a meaningless act?
Ayato: Didn't you know? The more harshly a woman is treated, the more that genuine pervert gets off on it?
Yui: ...
Ayato: You're really curious, aren't you? Don't you think you're missing out a bit by only having known him?
Ayato: What do the fangs of other guys feel like...? Heh-heh-heh, isn't that the kind of thing a human would want to experience/taste?
And by "this," only bloodsucking is implied, while "fidelity" specifically refers to the fact that Yui had not yielded to another guy's fangs.
Ayato only wishes to drink Yui's blood. He has no intention of having sex with her.
But then Laito himself appears in the torture chamber — it's interesting and important what question he asks his brother and how.
Laito: Who knows. Anyway, Ayato-kun, what were you planning to do to this girl? Depending on the circumstances...
Laito: I might torture you to death.
When Laito delivers his first line, his sprite shows no smile, and his eyes are narrowed. For the second line, his expression becomes aggressive. Furthermore, the word "what", which is usually written with the kanji 「何」 or hiragana 「なに」, is here highlighted in katakana — as 「ナニ」. The emphasis is on it — Laito is concerned with "what exactly" Ayato intended to do to his victim. If his brother was planning to do something with her that Laito wouldn't approve of, he might even "torture him to death."
Ultimately, the young man gets a "brilliant" idea: Laito suggests that Ayato drink Yui's blood, while he himself intends to observe the event. Ayato accepts the offer.
In the process, Yui notes that her body, once again, "is burning, blazing." And Laito observes that she is clearly enjoying someone else's fangs. He also calls the girl the same name Ayato used for his mother: 「アバズレ」 = "whore," "slut."
Ayato: This taste is quite rare, isn't it? Mmm... m-mm...
Yui: (Laito-kun is watching... how can this be. But... but... my body... is starting to burn... I can't resist)
Yui: A-ah!!!...
Laito: Ah, Bitch-chan, you're enjoying this, aren't you?... Being bitten by a man other than me and moaning...
Laito: You truly are a slut.
Here, we need to follow Laito's logic.
It turns out he can offer his victim's blood to another man. He will watch as this other man drinks from her. This will arouse him.
But if this other man does "something" inappropriate with the girl, Laito will kill him. In anger. And here, "something" implies sex.
Let's return to the dungeon episode with Cordelia and Richter. Laito, watching them, was also smiling and getting aroused. That is, he behaved exactly the same way he does now, observing Ayato drinking Yui's blood. If Richter had had sex with his "beloved" in front of him in the dungeon then, the young man would not have been aroused — he would have been just as enraged, ready to torture his uncle to death.
In short, in DL Laito Ecstasy 09, Laito is currently recreating what he saw in the past — in the flashback from DL Laito Maniac Prologue. Only now, Yui is in Cordelia's place (who, by the way, smells like Cordelia and tastes like Cordelia), and Ayato is in Richter's place. Everything proves that no sex between his mother and uncle happened in front of him in the past either. Cordelia simply made Laito watch another man drink her blood. And not without reason.
However, Laito is not only recreating a scene from the past now — he wants to do something to Yui in the present that he couldn't do to Cordelia back then. To punish the one who erred. Therefore, he will project his unrealized desire:
— — ビッチちゃん。これが終わったらお仕置きだよ、たっぷりね。だから......我慢しなよ。
Laito: Bitch-chan, when this is over, you'll be punished, thoroughly. So... be patient.
And we will conclude the topic by examining the pages from the DL Sequel Laito manga. They illustrate that very scene in the dungeon. Let's analyze each frame and every quote.
First frame: A bewildered Laito behind bars.
Second frame: Laito behind bars, Richter's hands on Cordelia's half-exposed back. And two lines of dialogue.
...Is this okay/normal?
— most likely, this line belongs to Richter: it wasn't in the game.
Yes, so... come quickly.
— and this phrase should belong to Cordelia: the second part of the line is also in the game.
3, 4. Third frame: Cordelia's neck is exposed, straps are down, her dress is held at her chest. Richter's face is near her neck, behind her hair. Fourth frame: Laito's astonished face.
Listen, Laito. You're a good boy, aren't you?
— Cordelia's line is almost identical to the game's — except for "m-m" at the beginning.
Then/therefore you'll watch, won't you?
— but this phrase was not spoken in the game: apparently, they decided to add it to the manga to further prove the point: Cordelia aims for her son to watch what's happening.
5, 6. Fifth frame: Laito in the dungeon, Cordelia's and Richter's shadows on the floor.
Sixth frame: Another shot of Cordelia — flushed, Richter's face still buried in her hair.
......うん。
...Yeah. That's right. I'm...
I'm... a "good" boy, after all.
— completely matches the game version: this is one line from the game, broken into two parts in the manga.
7. Moving to the next page: Now Laito has a pleased expression.
This kind of thing
rather excites me unconsciously
— a slightly shortened line from the game.
That's all. Besides the lines of dialogue, which for the most part repeat phrases from the game (which we have already analyzed), we need to pay attention to the visual sequence.
First: the way Richter buries himself in Cordelia's hair in two frames exactly replicates the position of Yui and Ayato in the CG from DL Laito Ecstasy 09. That very scene analyzed above, where Laito recreates his memories.
Ayato is definitely drinking Yui's blood at this moment — we understand this from the dialogue and sounds. However, there is no blood on the girl's neck, no bite marks, and Ayato's face is buried in her hair. It's not strange that Richter's face, while drinking Cordelia's blood, is similarly buried in her hair, and there are no bite marks or blood on her neck either.
Second: in the manga, the boys sometimes undressed Yui down to her underwear to drink from her neck. It's logical that Cordelia would also lower her dress straps for the same purpose.
How is this episode described in the fanbook for the first game?
"The main character is confused by the consciousness of Cordelia — Laito's mother — awakening within her. Laito offers her to Ayato, allowing him to drink her blood. Being drunk from by Ayato in front of Laito, she is bewildered by the pleasure she feels. Cordelia, Laito's actions... — many things trouble the heroine's heart."
After all that has been presented, we can draw an unambiguous conclusion:
Cordelia deliberately allowed Richter to drink her blood in front of Laito — nothing more.
Everything attests to this:
• the message of the phrase "the body burns with anticipation";
• Laito's logic when recreating an analogous scene with Ayato and Yui;
• Laito's willingness to share the girl's blood with another man, but his readiness to kill if someone were to have sex with her;
• the position of the figures in the manga;
• the correspondence of the figures' positions in the manga and the game's CG, where only bloodsucking definitely occurred.
There is no other possible interpretation of this scene. The conclusion in this case is unequivocal.
What we have just analyzed is not a theory; it is a fact. The one and only possible one. If any reviewers on their YouTube channels claim otherwise, they are incorrect. I have thoroughly explained the meaning embedded in these scenes, how they are revealed and presented. Any other interpretation, a.k.a. "Cordelia had sex with Richter/her lovers in front of Kanato/Laito," is fundamentally wrong.
