@robert--stark
I suppose the true question is: did you miss me?
I did. I always miss the Mormont ladies.
Were ye expectin’ a smile and a curtsy, oh mighty Master o’ Laws? Ye came t’the wrong girl for that.
I don’t think I have ever seen you curtsy. That would be such a strange thing to witness.
Well then, your belief is all that I need.
How are you? How are the children? I miss you. Have they said something?
It’s tha’ damned Skagosi in him. He’s more wild than damned wildlings.
That can cause some trouble.
princess-dany:
It’s been an age since put Dark Sister to use, a true shame. I wonder if I’ll remember all I’ve learned…
I believe you will.
lyra-umber:
An’ what has me dear lord husband done this time?
He is...peculiar, your husband.
ladyjorelle:
A swift kick between yer legs will give ye a good idea how it feels, and I’d be only too happy t’do it.
That would be so icredibly mean of you. Motherhood hasn’t helped you mature.
thequietwolfsdaughter:
“I’m sure it will be… Though I’m glad to hear you fare well and I don’t doubt the travelling is a pain but at least you’re honouring father by acting as Master of Laws despite it all, he’d be proud.”
“Yes, I think of it in that way too. A way to honour him. Though because of it I think I see less and less of Dany and the children. I don’t want Visenya, Edwyle and Aelyx to think I don’t care.”
lilymormont:
That would be wonderful! She’s a wonderful person, you’re a lucky man. I may have visted once or twice when I was younger, but I can’t really recall. Why do you ask?
I am indeed lucky. I ask because I often have to travel to King’s Landing and I believe that is a place that you may find interesting. Perfect to experience new adventures. There are many members of the nobility who make frequent trips to the capital. If your mother allows it, I could take you with me sometime. And bring Visenya along, though she’s quite younger than you. But I believe she would be good company.
aladyofthornes:
“She takes after her mother that way. That or she turns into a pouty little princess.”
“They are well, are they not? Because of all that traveling and responsibilities, I feel like I barely get to see Dany and the children.”
aladyofthornes:
“I suppose… Though they do always seem just the tiniest bit upset when I won’t give them that extra lemon cake or cookie.”
“I imagine Visenya is more upset then the boys are. She has always had such spirit.”
thequietwolfsdaughter:
“She’s a sweet girl and like you say, she’s never been one for complaining, hopefully she’ll feel at home here. Now, may I ask how you are, Rob?”
“The North is different from the Stormlands. But I hope it would be a nice change. I fare well, Serra. I again had to leave for King’s Landing. I feel like all I do is travel.”
Robert Stark | 24 | Married to Daenerys Targaryen | TAKEN | Nicholas Hoult
Robert Stark is the oldest child and son of Eddard Stark and his wife, Ashara. He grew up a happy child and never felt like he lacked parental affection. He has two siblings – Serra and Arthur – and as the oldest among them he has promised to always protect them.
The young boy was born in Winterfell and is very proud of his roots. The harsh weather does not bother him and he actually enjoys it. He is a quiet boy with good manners, and has always valued family above everything else. The lad is mostly enthusiastic and has a positive outlook on life. Since he was young, he has showed great potential in sword-fighting and horseback riding, but he dislikes fighting and violence and values peace.
When his family moved to King’s Landing, Robert wasn’t very happy about it. He missed the North and it’s smallfolk and hated being separated from them. However, he never showed his displeasure about the south. Robert saw one good thing: he was finally offered the opportunity to get to know his aunt and cousins better.
Despite his hesitance of the capital, Robert seemed to have flourished in King’s Landing. He has grown close with Rhaegar Targaryen, even becoming his squire. Robert became close with Princess Daenerys Targaryen. At first he could barely talk to her, but eventually he grew so used to her, he was no longer shy around her. She was betrothed at the time, so he was content with just being her friend and being near her, and when her engagement was canceled he believed he had a chance with her as he knew she cared abut him as well.
Fortunately for the both of them, an engagement was made between the two of them a few weeks later. Robert was thrilled.
Then the war started. The royal family was sent up North to Winterfell, and Robert went with them. He wanted to protect Daenerys and his mother and his sister and everyone else he cared for. He was happy to see his cousins again and he was happy to stay by Daenerys’ side. While in Winterfell, Daenerys and Robert were married and they even had two children together.
It wasn’t all happy and fun though. Eddard, and his forces fought off the Bolton forces from the Seige of Winterfell, but Eddard was hurt. He left his forces for Robert to lead. He wasn’t excited to do it, but he knew he had to. He left Winterfell and fought in the attack on the Dreadfort, and returned as soon as he could. After the war, he set off for Harrenhall with Dany and his children, which Dany now ruled. Unfortunately the bliss that the end of the Rebellions brought was short lived and soon enough another war broke out, this time against the Others. Being his father’s heir to the Starfort he was commanded to remain behind whilst the other Lords marched off North to fight and though successful there was also a tremendous amount of loss; one of those fallen being Rob’s father, Ned Stark. Now that the Starfort has lost its heroic leader its people look to Rob to step into the large shoes his father left behind him.
It wasn’t long before the crown came to him and asked him to fill his father’s shoes as Master of Laws. He reluctantly agreed and left the Starfort for King’s Landing, though he soon left to live with Dany in Harrenhall after the loss of Rhaegar, though he is often forced to travel back to the capital.
lilymormont:
That’s a shame. None the less, a visit would be lovely! How is your wife — well, I hope? Yes….no….maybe, I don’t know. All I know is — I want to get away, leave this island and, I don’t know, see places. Any place, every place!
If you wish, next time they are in the North, I will let you know. Dany is busy with Harrenhal, her own duties and our children. She is a remarkable woman, to be able to handle so much responsibility and with no complains. Have you ever been to King’s Landing?
lilymormont:
Thank you, Lord Stark. I would love to visit the Starfort sometime. It feels like forever since I’ve seen your darling children — I was, actually, referring to my desire to move to Winterfell sometime soon.
I am afraid even if you visited the Starfort now, you wouldn’t find them there. They are with their mother in Harrenhal. To move to Winterfell? Permanently?
lilymormont:
Apparently, I’ve talked about wanting to leave Bear Island so much that Rowan has begun to think I’m actually going away — if only he were right.
You can always come to the Starfort.
