So their first scene Rumple is ushering Belle away with his hand on her back through a door from her family and friends-towards a dark unknown future. And now in the end he is ushering her back through a door towards family and friends with their own family in her grasp-full of light and happiness. I don’t think they planned it to be that way, but holy heckle.
