Ravens Finish Strong To Defeat The Bengals, 31-24

Joe Flacco threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns, and the Baltimore Ravens squeezed by the Cincinnati Bengals 31-24 on Sunday to move into first place in the AFC North.

Flacco connected with rookie Torrey Smith on a 38-yard TD to give Baltimore (7-3) a 31-14 lead early in the fourth quarter. Smith finished with six catches for 165 yards, while Ray Rice ran for 104 yards and two scores.

The Bengals (6-4) got to the Baltimore 7 in the final minute but could not score the tying touchdown.

The victory moved the Ravens into a first-place tie with Pittsburgh, but Baltimore is 2-0 against the Steelers and holds the tiebreaker advantage.

Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 373 yards but was intercepted three times.

Last time I made a post, I was cramped up in a hospital on a couch eating noodles waiting for my daughter to be born. Well, a day after that post on 09-30-11, she made her debut! That first night was hell on wheels BUT, I'm quickly adjusting. I ended up spending 6days total in that hospital and that was too damn long. Ive been peed on and pooped on a few times since shes been born but my pops said that a blessing lol...ahhhhhh, im not sure how thats a blessing but thats a heck of a blessing lol. Now, it's 2:03am almost two weeks later and I'm up rocking guess who to sleep lol. Its alotta work but I wudnt give it up for the world....I love my baby girl and my family.

It's now 7:26am and I'm still going strong. I'm tryna eat my "Nissin" Noodles for breakfast (a TRUE breakfast of champions if I may say myself...) and all I can hear is a woman down the hall delivering a baby and it sounds like someone is tryna murder her....needless to say, me no likey lol. ....Stay tuned for more to come!

THE HOSPITAL - Day 1, Hour #17....

Layin on the couch tryna in a hospital room tryna get some sleep in-between multiple nurse checks every half hour is not how I thought this day would go lol. My wife and I were supposed to come to the hospital @8am today (well, yesterday now that's it's 1am..), get induced and have my lil princess in my arms by now and yea, your probably laughing saying I've seen too many movies lol, I know. But that's what I expected lol. Well, nothing went as planned and we gotta long ways to go. You know, I've never actually been through this and seen all the crap a woman has to go through to bring a child here but it's ALOT. ....So as I sit here, exhausted, annoyed, wanting the comfort of my bed and my o so comfy memory foam pillow and silence, this is nothing even close to what women go through and what my wife has gone through and will go through just to give live so I wanna say THANK YOU for the gifts you all give us and as cliche' as it sounds, you all are appreciated... -Typical Reasons

Went to he doctors today and got to see my baby girl again! Shes not due until October but hey, that's right around the corner. I just pray that everything goes ok and that she gets here sooner than later....I cnt wait to be a dad :)
