“Envious? Oh, please. This suit is older than you, of course I’m not going to be shiny, but like Hell I’d be jealous because of it. I wouldn’t be able to scare the pants off night guards nearly as well if I looked brand new like you.”

“Oh, so you’re supposed to be scary, then.  Well...maybe I’m not the best one to judge that.  If it scares your guards, then that’s all that matters, right?  I still think that what you do is more important than how you look, even for a job as simple as scaring somebody, but I guess that’s your work and not mine.”

“It’s not about how shiny I am- some children seem to be frightened of me, after all.  It’s about what I can do!  I can do so many things that they love.  You know...you’re not very shiny at all, are you?  I think you may just be envious of me.”

“Of course I have!  Not a week goes by where each of us aren’t rented out for at least one party.  The children do seem to love us, after all.”

Tattletail was ready for this - it hadn’t played this game before, but it had heard it was a fun one. All you had to do was stop moving when the looker was looking! And Tattletail was very good at not moving.

Surprisingly enough, the toy actually moved when the other was turned, a soft pitter patter echoing throughout the facility, silencing at red light. Tattletail was completely motionless, save for a slightly twitching ear.

The gentle sound of footsteps against the floor didn’t go unnoticed by Baby when she was turned away.  Maybe she had made somewhat of a human mistake in being uncertain about how quickly it’d be able to move, if at all.  It wasn’t a problem with her- quite the opposite.  She was delighted that it could move just as easily as herself and the other animatronics!

“Good stop!” she complimented the other, not having seen Tattletail move at all.  She turned away once more.  “Green light...red light!”  This time the latter signal came only about a half second after the first- a trick Baby recalled to try and catch the runners off-guard.  She spun around just as she called out, eyes canning for any sign of movement from the cute little toy.

   “Hmm…” Tattletail… hadn’t expected to get this far. What did it want to play? Hide and seek would definitely be a little difficult, considering how dark it was down here. It’d have to play a different game! But… what other games did it know?    “Me… me want to play green light red light!” Tattletail was best at moving when no one was looking, after all.

“Oooh, that’s a fun one!  I’ll start out, okay?”  Baby always did love playing games like these...and she loved it even more.  She hurried a distance away from the little toy, turning around to face it when she was far enough to get at least a few turns in, probably. “Ready?”  She called out, turning around shortly thereafter.  “Green light...”  Only two or three seconds passed before she spun back around in Tattletail’s direction.  “Red light!”

“Of course we can play, little one!”  What a CUTE little thing this was!  She hadn’t heard any staff members say anything about a new animatronic joining them- and she heard EVERYTHING around this place- so it must’ve come from outside.  Was it a child’s toy that was left behind?  However this newcomer had gotten here, Baby didn’t mind.  She’d be happy to indulge in some playtime for them.

This is your favorite treat!  You can’t eat it, but you’ve always liked it.  You can even make it yourself, even though it’s only happened one time.  Hopefully you can do it again some day- confusing as that day was, it’s such a wonderful thing to be able to do.

Sometimes the technicians can’t fix something wrong with you and your friends.  That’s why they have this handy little invention!  Getting your endoskeleton ripped out from your body isn’t really as bad as it sounds, though the name is admittedly more fun than the experience.  It’s not fatal, of course- not even to a human.  Then again, you don’t think it’s been used on one before...
