Snug and covering the whole neck. As it should be.
I would do a similar set in the winter, but below this longsleeve there must always be a collared shirt and a tight tie.
A quick relax in the evening.
Light brown, lightly coloured jeans, lightly coloured shirt... Nice summer dress code idea!
That's how a good pair of Wrangs should fit!
Always Great with a New pair of Wranglers On

...neeearly my style.
Nice and tight, all day, every day.

That's pga1984 on Instagram. Always well belted up, always well booted.
Valentine’s Day OOTD
Elegant and strict!
Jeans well worn!
A short relax during the day.
'Your cut is now ready, Sir. Now we shall fix your collar and tighten your tie for the day, Sir'.
This morning I experimented by putting together a more casual, preppy outfit. Still very formal for me though! I like using the jacket from my suit in this more casual context, I like how it dresses it down. I look like I could be on a manor somewhere in the countryside - or at least I like to pretend I could be!
Belt shown, collar shown, tie shown; elegant and disciplined!
17/01/2026 15 consecutive days of wearing a tie
I saw my mother today, which is the first time in long time that I have seen her while wearing a tie. She's used to seeing me in a polo and decent trousers by now, but she is used to a very casual form of dress - the last time I saw her I was in a polo and a quarter zip and she acted as if I were wearing white tie with remarks about being so smartly dressed. This is probably the meeting where I felt the most awkward about turning up well dressed.
Nonetheless, I wanted to stick to my resolution today and not dress down to see her. Being a Saturday, I couldn't use work as an excuse. In the end, as it has always proved so far, the awkwardness was over within about 30 seconds of her seeing my outfit when I opened the door and an initial set of "oh you look very formal!" style remarks. She paid me a few nice compliments about my clothes over our meeting, asking about the jacket and trousers.
I also had a plumber round earlier in the morning, who was a bit startled at my attire. He asked whether I just dress like this on a Saturday, I replied "Sure, if I feel like it!" to which he laughed and we got on quite normally from there, apart from a goodbye comment to tell me I looked very dapper.
Both interactions reminded me that my own demeanour is a key factor in whether someone else will be awkward around me while I'm well dressed, which is the main reason I hadn't followed through on how I wanted to dress previously in life. If am comfortable and confident it shows, and it puts others at ease. If I feel worried and self-conscious that seeps out too. Fortunately, I feel great wearing these clothes and quite natural in them by now - building a habit is paying off! I really think most people like seeing a guy make an effort and looking well presented in a tie, but their only reference points for ties and menswear is occasions when one is obliged to wear them. After easing them through that initial uncertainty with a bit of humour and confidence I have found it's really not awkward at all, and people actually enjoy us doing it. Let's give them more of it and make the casual tie normal again!
Well done!!
Asymmetrical, substantial knot below the beard. That's how it should be done.

These trousers have quickly become my default - grey flannel is so easy to pair with the normal colour menswear colour palette. Went with a more casual option for Sunday through the tweed. An oxford shirt would have been better for this look, I will have to add some options to my wardrobe. Today has been catching up on work I didn't complete over the holidays. I often find that dressing properly makes me want to live up to the garments and the social expectations around them. Hopefully I can channel that feeling into reinforcing good behaviour.
Thanks for the warm response to my first post. I might need to figure out a better camera set up to take these!
That's a proper daily casual!
