Ceres as you’ve never seen before 😮

🌑Ceres is the largest object in the main asteroid belt that lies between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.

This video animation is based on images taken by NASA’s Dawn spacecraft. The images provided information for a three-dimensional terrain model. The vertical dimension has been exaggerated by a factor of two, and a star field has been added in the background.

Today NASA’s “Mega Rocket” has left for testing. The core stage of the rocket has now left it’s factory in New Orleans for testing. Named the SLS (Space Launch System) the rocket is part of NASA’s mission to return US astronauts to the moon by 2024.
