Growing up watching Bayverse, I had a specific view of characters ya know? Colors. Optimus: blue and red. Megatron: silver and grey, Starscream: grey and silver, Bumblebee: black and yellow, etc.

Then I watch Tf Prime once I finally got internet. Similar color pattern yeah? Optimus: blue and red. Megatron: Grey and silver. Bumblebee: yellow and black. Starscream: Grey and silver.

Then I had finally got to watch Tf Animated because I didn’t have cable until just after this show premiered and aired —regardless, it’s an interesting art style but similar colors, yeah. Same thing once I got into the eighties comics.

All except one.

When I tell you how bloody dumbfounded I was when I saw Starscream’s original multicolored design—

His swag… is too powerful at times I fear, that’s clearly obviously why the franchise doesn’t really do anything with shattered glass 🙄 not everyone can handle him and his coolness..

A very strange and professional type of love but like I think these two would probably die if it were any other way 😮‍💨 couple’s communication final boss level of informative towards each other .. I just think the waves being like this is very amusing… honestly this was originally gonna be g1 but I was having a hard time drawing the designs so I swapped it to TfOne which was much better on my brain (please don’t ask me how when they’re way more detailed, it just is that way for me 😭)

Poor ol’ Soundwave who has to get his insignia pressed onto his glass 💔💔 just writhing on the ground with the other two staring and being useless 🙄 tho honestly I’m not too sure if glass would be sensitive for a Cybertronian or like. The Cybertronian equivalent of cartilage kinda? Like maybe they don’t actually tend to feel their glass that much yknow… not sure which one I’d prefer to imagine either

Cyberverse plot is just Soundwave in Maccadams for the 50th time in a week lounging around like this I think, cuz why else is he always there all the time 😒 guy practically lives there… and it’s been awhile since I’ve done a pinup I’ve noticed, and I can’t let that happen, I need my Soundwave pinups to sustain my eternal youth

The waves are starting up a revenge throuple… join them Starscream and you’ll be reincarnated into a lotus flower 🪷 A StarWavewave co leadership would’ve been too much for Earthspark to handle 😔 clearly why it hadn’t happened… even just a Soundstar co leadership would’ve been a lot to handle 🙄 but sighh yknow it would’ve killed the writers to do that… now Shockwave has to juggle a depressed seeker and an unbelievably angry and torn stealth bomber
