Most Valuable Things
@Financemooc
Motivation: What motivated the decision that led to you owning your most valuable thing? Being able to work online from home motivated purchasing a computer.
Money flow: What markets are at play in your life? Stock index futures markets are at play in my work life. How might this compare to the markets that are at play in the lives of the individuals whose possession(s) were captured in the photos shown in the article? Some of those individuals do not have robust and fast internet connections, so doing what I do to trade stock index futures would be very hard for them to reliably accomplish for technological reasons of limited access.
Repercussions: Thinking ahead to content that will be expanded upon in Week 3, can you identify any repercussions of the financial decisions that allowed you to purchase your most valuable thing? Saving money and working at jobs that pay enough to afford expensive computers is a way to use money to earn more money.

The simplicity of points made resonate with me like when the first finance book came out in the 1930s as an outgrowth of economic theory and practice. Furthermore, the simple definitions of finance and its purposes is an advantage I see in this course so far. Local issues are taxation in places like New York City and Puerto Rico because tax justice is not as simple or as obvious as some say or believe. Global issues include taxation as well in terms of competition among countries to attract and retain people who are also incentivized ideally to earn enough to pay enough in taxes to support certain key goals for housing, transportation, health, education, and more in most societies today.

Finance for Everyone is a series of courses I recommend on Coursera.org.
The first course in the specialization or series is called Finance for Everyone - Decisions.
This is the most wholesome thing I’ve ever freaking seen.

Funnily enough, John Boyega did actually model for some stock school photos.

Shedding light on our understanding of the universe.
Until recently, gravitational fields were only known to be generated near black holes, hundreds of light years away. But researchers at IBM’s Zurich lab successfully recreated one right here on Earth. While still theoretical, their findings have the potential to seriously change how we generate and conserve energy, which makes black holes look a little bit brighter.
See how they did it ->
Your very heart, That beats within you, During each and every second, Is a magnificent mass that resides inside of you.
Ladies, this is about 230 grams of you. Guys, for you it’s 350 grams.
Although small, hollow, and rather light; your heart is a crucial component of you, from the blood being sent to your brain all the way to your baby toe; this is all from your heart.
Regardless if your masculine heart is 5.3% fat or feminine one is 8.9% fat; it beats for you.
It keeps you alive during each and every second.
