Wandering thoughts

I cannot sleep. 

My body aches everywhere.

I don’t feel as vibrant as I was 10 years ago.

I am getting old.

Yet, I know that I am being a better version of myself every day.

I try to discover lost passions.

I decided to leave excess baggage behind.

I decided to grow up.

I know that the future is still uncertain.

I love to face it head-on.

I am more cautious now at the same time would want to try something new.

Here’s to more experiences.

Here’s to what lies ahead.

The man that I was is no longer.

 The man I am is who will prevail.
