It’s okay if not! It’s pretty hard to come by and some books are incorrectly labelled (so I hope I’ve got all of these right). These are all either books I’ve read, or books still on my own tbr.

My unpopular opinion which could get me run out of tumblr:
Murderbot does not identify with gender. Murderbot uses it/its pronouns. Murderbot does not identify with having sexual orientation.
People who do visual art of Murderbot with aggressively gendered characteristics (six-pack abs, masculine facial features, etc) or sexualize it (yes, I’m talking about AppleTV) are being disrespectful.
There are a million other characters available to gender-swap or orientation-swap to your AU-fanfiction’s delight. It’s pretty tacky to take a character who is inseparable from those characteristics AND is one of the only pieces of representation for agender and/or asexual people, and decide you need to make it “better” to conform to your own tastes.
It actually kinda pisses me off how many people strictly he/him Bloody Painter like-
Ofc agender people can use he/him only, pronouns ≠ gender buuuuuuut.....
When there is literally only ONE non cis creepypasta character yk ID KINDA LIKE IF THEY WERE ATLEAST HE/THEY'D????
Especially because I've seen people say that Helen would hate being she/her'd to the point of... VIOLENCE????
I get theyre a murderer but DUDE???
They have literally NEVER EXPRESSED being uncomfortable or having a bad view of their yk parents makinf them dress as a girl for their early life.
In my opinion i dont think theyve ever felt any gender and just kinda go with the flow, although being forced out of feminine stuff was very shocking to them and has made the grow a nostalgic feeling for dresses, dolls, make up and all that.
I think theyd want to he He/they'd by strangers or acquaintances, They/Them'd by friends, and She/Her'd by best friends, partners, or family(which is prob dead but likeeee idkkk)
Not like other prns are off limits its more of what they prefer.
I They/Them them when talking about them just so people dont get confused. Truthfully id she/her the shit out of her if it didnt make a lot of people confused.
Also the transfem nonbinary/straight up just a trans woman hc is calling to me and i need to be saved... BRO THERES SO LITTLE AGENDER REP AND IM THE ONLY ONE TRYINF TO RESPECT IT BUT THEYRE TRYING TO TAKE ME AWAY HELP ME BEFORE I

I’m going to have to learn how to write because I am sick and tired of EVERY monster or queer romance having a cookie cutter skinny fem main character. 🙄Even the hairless gay twinks are way over done; there’s not much diversity. It’s like they choose the most popular and easiest because they don’t want to delve into more queer identities.
Where are the fat and hairy queer people? I want to make trans masc/agender stories, mainly monster romances. I’m not the best at writing but I’ll give it a shot because I’m tired of not being represented.
So if there are any writers who have published works or just write in general, I’d appreciate the tips 💜
