no one else even comes close. my standards are too high.

i don’t even care that they delayed andor’s release date. i’m just happy we’re actually at this point right now. we’re getting cassian back. we’re getting three episodes to kick off the show. we’ve got a full trailer. people are genuinely excited about it, which is great.

not only did they make a new cassian funko pop for andor……

BUT THEY MADE ONE FOR JYN?!?!?!?!?!?!

now this might just be false hope but maybe this means she IS gonna show up at some point in andor

so, i didn’t go to star wars celebration this year (i’ve never been but it’s on my bucket list!) and i was kinda bummed because it was ANDOR’S YEAR and i wasn’t there for it. however, that didn’t stop me from going on ebay and buying myself one of the andor posters they gave out at celebration, as well as this beautiful artist’s series blanket (pictured below, not my pic, credit goes to starwars.com).

…and yes, i only bought the blanket because it had jyn on it

What are your favourite Jyn/Cassian fics ?

Okay, so at first i tried to get this as short as possible? But i’ve read so many amazing fics these last 7 months, i couldn’t leave anything out. I added exactly 60 fics here (and i am pretty sure i forgot to put some i also loved). I’ve rec-ed several fics back in january too, you should also check them out (x) …sadly some of those WIP fics aren’t finished yet.

i know leia isn’t a new character and we’ve seen her before but i feel like the Little Leia in the kenobi show is like a totally different leia than who we’ve seen in the OG trilogy and the sequels. we get to see how she grew up, why she is the way she is, and also what drives her. we get to see how she became the amazing role model she is.

also when she held obi wan’s hand at the end of part four i cried my eyes out

Back in August, I drew a soccer modern AU version of Jyn wearing Cassian’s jersey to go with a fic as a birthday gift for @thenewleeland​.

Then @mariganath​ asked for the reverse version of Cassian wearing Jyn’s jersey.

The Replacement Cass

Jyn has a new boyfriend which would be fine… if not for his name.

“Alright,” Jyn says to him as she emerges from her room, pulling his attention from his laptop. She’s wearing dark jeans, a black tank top, and a green denim jacket. “If I don’t text you in the next two hours, call the cops. If I’m not back by midnight, also call the cops.”

Cassian gives her a dark look. She tells him the same thing every time, and he gives her the same response every time. “Jyn, if you don’t text me in the next hour,” emphasis on the hour and not two, “I’m going there myself.”

“My hero.” She clutches at her heart, pretending to swoon, and he rolls his eyes. In all honesty, he knows she can take care of herself. If he had to bet on who’d win in a fight, her or random dude from college, he’d choose her any day. Still.

“I’m serious.”

“Alright, alright.” Jyn bends down and pulls on her combat boots. “I’ll text you within the hour, chill.”

Holy moly this is so freaking good

i watched obi wan yesterday and i’ll have to say i was really impressed! my expectations were kinda low and i wasn’t expecting much from it but i thought they did a pretty good job. i also liked how they really focused on leia more so than luke because i feel like sometimes she gets overshadowed by him. i also LOVED how we ACTUALLY got to see alderaan!!!!
