Just in time, she was done with fixing up a busted old car for motel owner where she was staying. Darn thing was ancient but not impossible to fix, plus he lowered price on her room so hence she did not mind staying longer in same place. When she came in her room the phone rang, bit surprised she sat on bed and picked up the phone only to be greeted by familiar voice…..that she sort of missed hearing from.

“Eeeey luv long time no hear ! Finally back from ya lil trip I reckon ? “ she asked as wide grin spread across her face. Its been a while since they spoke, sure they used emails here and there but it was not the same like hearing ones voice…or seeing him.

“How ya doin Ro ? “

He could hear the smile in her voice, which only made him smile in turn. He had set the stipulation that he wouldn’t make any calls while he was out travelling for reference for a new series he was working on, but hearing her after months made him realize just how much he had missed her.

“I’m doing good. Great, even. Just got back to Morioh.” He let himself swivel a bit in his chair as he leaned back. “I was thinking we could...catch up maybe? In person?”

He had a headache. His eyes felt swollen, his fingers felt tight and too hot, and he just felt all around bad. But he knew he had to work, so he couldn’t afford to let this sickness escalate any further.

That’s why he had dragged himself out of bed, not bothering with makeup or hair gel or anything that would remotely make him look like a respectable person, and shuffled his way to the nearest convenience store. His sweatpants were falling from his hips and he had to hold them with one hand while the other kept his jacket closed. He hadn’t bothered putting a shirt on under it, just wanting to get in and get out as soon as he could.

He had hoped that the sassy cowgirl wasn’t working today, but just as his health was bad, it seemed his luck was running in the same vein.

Rohan picked up the phone and dialed the number he knew by heart before putting it against his ear, his long fingers already twirling absently around the curled cord. As soon as he heard the phone line click open, he spoke.

“Franky! Long time no see~”

Night time, as cliche as it was, really did help Rohan tap into his more sinister creativity. He always found himself up and roaming in the late hours when a particularly twisted scene was about to occur in his work.

It was also nice, considering there were fewer people out during this time. A little break away from the normally crowded parks. A little break from people in general.

He stuffed his hands in his pockets and found a bench before taking a seat, the nearby streetlamp hardly reaching him. He closed his eyes and let his thoughts wander to his story, hoping the brisk night air might alight something in him.

New Pet

[Hearing that word- ‘master’– makes Kars shiver, especially since it is coming from a rather willing human. Slowly, with his other hand, he brushes Rohan’s cheek, being extra careful to not scratch his new pet up. He then cards his fingers through the man’s swept locks, messing it’s style up in the process.]

Your sole master. Remember that.

[Quickly his delicate touches turn harsh, his hand gripping onto Rohan’s hair and yanking him about.

He jerks the man down, pushing his head down and between his legs, a wide grin in his face.]

The discovery

Wide grin spread across her lips, knowing fully well she was victorious in this little game tug of wars between them. But for his sake she will try her best not to go too wild during the ride.

“Hehehe ya wont regret it trust me on this one sweetheart ~” with wink she strut over to her bike only to reach for side bag where she kept few things, long with helmets.

“Here ya go ! “ saying that she threw brightly green colored helmet as she put on her own orange one. Already bit impatient she sat on motorcycle waiting for him to join her on this little joy ride.

He looked distastefully at the helmet in his hands before sighing and pulling it on. “I hope I don’t regret this.” He mumbled, more to himself than anyone.

He still felt hesitant, but now that he’s decided to trust Franky, he decides to trust her completely.

“Where are we going, anyways?” He asked, swinging a leg over the bike and gingerly holding Franky’s waist.

“Yes, I do! I would love to do some work in your yard. It won’t cost much, I’ve never been a fan of high prices.” She said with a cheerful giggle.

“Oh, if you don’t mind me asking, aren’t you a mangaka? I think a friend of mine mentioned a famous artist living around these parts.” Zion happened to love art, though she never read manga. Painting was a side hobby, she didn’t consider herself very good at it but to others her art looked beautiful. It was always landscapes, she never could figure out how to draw people.

His quick answer caused her to give a child like pout. Sure she could understand people get scared at first, or even worse have bad expirences beforehand….but in her mind you cant judge something unless you give it a try. After all where was the fun without taking a risk or two once in a while ?

“Awwhh come on now Ro, it aint that bad. Promise I’ll even draw slower for ya…” grinning she stepped over him, leaning her chest against him as she stared at him. Much like when a cat would challenge you into staring contest….she had that look barely blinking taunting the poor mangaka.

“Honneeey…..wanna make a deal then ? After this ride I’ll do whatever ya had in mind deal ?”

He pursed his lips even as he felt himself melting to her will. He really didn’t want to do this...motorcycles were for idiots who didn’t want to live a long life. And Franky, evidently.

He sighed, meeting her stare before turning his head away. “Are you really giving me puppy dog eyes? I’m not as strong of a man as you think.”

He looked over at the motorcycle, just a complicated mess of shining metal. Well, he supposed there were worse ways to die.

“Helmets. We both have to wear helmets, or it’s never happening.”

New Pet

[He violently presses his lips against Rohan’s, face mashing roughly against the other’s in a sloppy kiss. He makes it worse by biting down on the insides of one of his lips, drawing blood easily.

Kars’ tongue drags across the newly created wound, and soon it prods its way inside Rohan’s mouth, blood now in the mangaka’s now. He quickly moves back after that, smiling viciously.]
