tweaking (still tweaking?????) janeway's design. made a mid form, idk if i'll use it other than for heh "sequences." 😏 she'd maybe just get stuck inbetween sometimes.

also cant talk in her dragon form, so it comes out warbly and weird when she's mid. :) maybe she'd eventually get the hang of it.

the voyager book im reading rn (The Black Shore) has a segment where it describes Neelix taking Kes out into the ocean to teach her how to swim and it describes their human swimsuits theyve both donned IDK IT WAS REALLY CUTE i wanted to draw neelix's :)

it goes into detail about how soaked his whiskers and fur get when hes in the water and it makes kes laugh OOUUUGHHH I LOVE LITTLE MOMENTS <33333333333

i drew a lot of Totobet and Kay (Janeway) from The Captain's Table story Fire Ship lalalalala theyre like mom friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHES ALMOST A CHARACTER FOIL FOR THRESHOLD!JANEWAY IN THE SENSE THAT TOTOBET'S NEVER HAD CHILDREN BUT WANTS THEM AND KATHRYNS BEEN UNGRATEFUL FOR HERS AND OFTEN FEELS UNDESERVING LOLLLLLLL 🤪

in the book janeway starts off despising Totobet, hating her entire species as a whole for blowing up Voyager and killing all of her crew (allegedly), calling her and her species MENACE, but i swear girl once she finds out Totobet's pregnant like THE SWITCH FLIPS LOL ITS SO FUNNY shes instantly sympathetic and they have this quiet moment together of grieving their lost children 🥹 janeway's been compartmentalizing and not grieving the death of her crew for quite a while and she finally sobs it out with this alien that's somewhat involved in killing them. Kay promises to get Totobet's babies to their father if she didn't survive childbirth (REAL CONVERSATION THEY HAD LOL) and learned all of their names. and Totobet asks Kay if she has children and she hesitates at first but says yes,,,,,,,, and she lists off the names of her entire crew that she lost as her children </////3 BUT IN THE AU LIKE THE ADDED PUNCH OF SHE ACTUALLY HAS KIDS THAT SHES ALSO LOST AAAAAAAAAAA

BUT ANYWAYYYY eventually she obviously finds out Voyager survived and she gets to reunite with her kiddies!!! and they of course comment on her funny new haircut hehehe
