its kinda obvious they’ll reconcile in the last book, especially considering that their current arcs are mirrors to each other. there are two adams, just like there are two ronans.... adam is scrubbing himself of all magic and all of his past life in order to “have a normal life” in harvard, ronan just cant see a future for himself and turned his back on “normal life” for magic.... they both need to find a middle ground, and that will be their path to actually being able to have a healthy & solid relationship.
