“You Can’t Save the World Alone.”

I have been collecting for 7 months, started with Jada Metals figures and got introduced to Funko Pop which made me go crazy because they had a lot of characters especially for my line which is DC heroes and villains (Joker, Deathstroke, Batman, Reverse Flash being my favorite) I easily got hooked. Not only that, they are attractive in or outide of the box. It feels great to achieve this for when I was a kid, I always got fascinated by toy collections and the like.

Watching and reading about superheroes, I have gained some life lessons from it too. The value of your friends, family and loved ones. How you can be a hero in your own ways wherein you don’t need superpowers. The world can be cruel, harsh, violent and crazy sometimes. But honestly, as naive it may seem. It gives me hope, they give me hope.and realizations I have never thought possess. The world can never understand us, especially people. What matters is that we know who we are, we know what makes us happy and we do our best to give respect and help others. Most important is that never lose hope, give second chances not only to others, but also to yourself and learn from mistakes. Be persistent for a better change.

Sandwich, first heard them when I was in high school with the song "Two Trick Pony" and yet they are still unfailing, still captivating. During live performances, the lyrics, the effects, the noise is like an oblivious masterpiece.

During these shots, I was able to expand my creativity by using three of my lenses: Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye f/2.8, Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D and Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 along with my reliable Nikon D7000.

I am thankful to be the photographer. Sometimes, photography isn't just about taking pictures, showing the beauty or taking precious memories. It is sometimes about being part of other people's lives. A sense of involvement, influence and communication. She is a very shy girl, but somehow, with a little effort, she opened up to me and trusted me behind the camera and that openness about the look I'm looking for and how she wanted to look like.

This was a pre-debut shoot.

Stereolove|RIANNE

Inspired by the song Stereolove by Taken By Cars. This shoot was spontaneous and was supposed to be made by afternoon before sunset. With the help of some friends, we were able to pull this one up for this is my first time to shoot in the evening and work with more artificial lights.  Special thanks to my friends Paul and Van.
