I've been playing the new Runescape a lot lately and I don't know if it's me healing the inner child or if this is a problem lmao
Just saw BTS in concert with Karina. I might not be ARMY, but I'm for sure in the reserves
Anyway I just found out that they're playing Shrek at the theater nearby, so Karina and I are going to get burritos and watch Shrek.
Today was my last day at work after 6.5 years.
If I didn't let people know I was leaving, or set up lunches with them, no one would've known I was leaving.
I did no work the last 2 weeks. Manager never checked up on me, I guess no one cared. He didn't even message me to say goodbye or thanks for the work. No card or anything.
No communication at all.
And if this isn't the biggest sign that this IS the right move for me, I don't know what would be.
What a bastard.
Like I know managers and bosses are all bastards, but come on dude you've known me for almost 7 years.
However, after I officially turned in my badge I had a nice lunch with the IT Desk dudes. They're the best.
Edit: I was the only employee in California, and my manager and rest of my team were all in Europe. If I didn't start a meeting with them at 7AM, I did not interact with them - and would rarely get responses to my Slack questions/messages. I used to have American colleagues, but the work got moved over, the people moved to different parts of the company, but I stayed on a technicality. I've essentially been working in a silo for the last year.
let's all have fun because it's better than not having fun
How it feels when nobody sympathy likes your vent post so you genuinely have to rethink your behavior
“nobody wants to work anymore” yeah because everyone wants to kill themselves
severely deficient in whatever vitamin makes u a person
What's so funny about my Steam account is that I only know who like 3 people are. Everyone I have added is a mystery.
I think I’m gonna put my two weeks in tomorrow. Finally.
I did, and I feel great.
