there're two versions of Corvo Attano that exist in my head and they are not exactly chaos related

one is well a guy who understandably suffered a lot and went through some shit but essentially he's still just a guy, like "yeah there are some unexplainable things in this world, I get it, I accept it as a fact, I move on"

and then there's this... creature. barely a man, it walks on the border of living world and void, and sometimes can't tell the difference. coldridge, grief and torture had eaten away too much and the Mark, well, it mended the pieces back the best it could

both could be high/low chaos, there's no correlation

but what ties them together is that they both love Emily. grass is green, sky is blue, Corvo Attano loves his daughter in every possible universe

Been replaying the dishonored series and i felt like drawing Corvo. Tried something different with the backgrounds and the colors for this one.

I love canon low chaos Corvo who is kind of somewhat well-adjusted, but man. I've been REALLY loving high-chaos Corvo who is super fucked up and unhinged lately. And the combination of low-chaos Daud who's trying to do things differently because he's tired of killing x high-chaos Corvo who's so terrible and violent and bitter that it even unsettles Daud is so good. Toxic Knifecrow. Knifecrow where Daud knows that Corvo is a monster now and he's more Void and violence than man and he loves him anyway. Also, Emily who grows up thinking that the greatest act of love is the blood shed under her name from a father who just wants to protect her.

Idk I've just been really into gothic horror, psychological thrillers, and basically anything Macabre lately. I think watching NBC Hannibal is part of it lmao
