From all around the globe-Ivy league operations like @pukassurf to back yard shacks in remote third world Islamic countries. This old rooster has had some miles and boards under his belt, around the 25,000 to 30,000 or so glassing jobs to speak, not to mention all the other sacrifices we make to have this career and lifestyle. One thing I do fucking know is I was born just a hillbilly kid in the hills of Tennessee and got an opportunity to move to the beach at an early age and decided from there my life path. Iâm grateful that I had the opportunity to have cut my teeth @wrv1967 and transferred west to fine tune my skills and craft @lost9193 @ghettohouseglassing to a very special thanks to @mayhemsurfboards_mattbiolos @618paul for throwing me a bone and giving me a go đ and way too many to to name and tag in this post to have moulded me into who I am today, as a man and a surfboard builder. I had no father so I learned how to be a man in the surfboard factories having old salty fucks as male mentors. Iâve seen way to much at an early age, but absorbed it all. As an experienced old man, I am blessed to have my own path in Australia the last 15 years, and still globally travel for work. In the current climate of the global surfboard industry, it is quite hard to maintain sustainability, I also sometimes find it difficult to deal with-from the flavour of the month show pony to the local hometown clown thatâs still trying to hold it down. I donât apologise for who I am nor any repercussions of others actions from lack of knowledge or respect. Iâm not arrogant by any means, you are only as good as your last board in this fashion show. One thing I sure know is, Iâm a father, husband, friend, brother. I AM A CRAFTSMAN. Iâm thankful for everyone who has influenced and supported me in this voyage, past and present.
