Today, I woke up and cried when I looked in the mirror. Strangely enough, that’s not unusual, but on those past occasions it was because of acne. This time, it was for the opposite reason - it’s finally gone. All those nights I had to ice my face to take the swelling down. All the moments I couldn’t look people in the eyes because I knew they’d move around my face and look at my pimples. All those times I couldn’t smile because of how much it hurt. All those hours standing in front of the mirror applying creams and ointments and washes and moisturizers. Over. And under it all, I even have a cute little rosy glow. Who’d have known? This lady is ecstatic to say #NoFilter.
