Here, let me reiterate and make it a little easier for you to see the point:

If you ask me, it goes a little further than having ❤️✨pride✨❤️ in having certain genetic attributes over which you had no say at your birth, but with your hypersensitivity over the matter—posting your little screed twice! My my, I must’ve hit a sore spot—I have a sneaking suspicion that that’s not what you really mean anyway because if it was just a matter of “pride”, you wouldn’t be so defensive.
That said!, the reason folks of other races show pride is because they’ve overcome decades or even centuries of hardship, descended from people who didn’t ask to be here in the first place (or were here in the very first place but had that taken away too). We haven’t exactly been oppressed by black, Hispanic, or indigenous people, so it’s not like we had anything to overcome…*
You want to show pride, be proud of something you actually accomplished—being born white in America isn’t an achievement, it’s a preorder bonus. If you’ve become successful, great, be proud of that, it’s not easy for anyone, especially now, but we white people have had it pretty relatively goddamn easy for a loooong time, specifically because we believed what was written in that declaration. I grew up in poverty and pulled myself out of it, and I do take pride in that, but I also know damn well that I had a lot more societal advantages because I’m white, and I don’t want people to be held down specifically because they aren’t.
If you genuinely believe white people are the superior race, as was literally stated in the above declaration, fine, I don’t actually care, I don’t know you and I don’t have any interest in it. But just come out and say it, actually be honest about it for once. What I’m sick to death of is you people being completely disingenuous, couching that racism in this “oh golly mister [sniffle] I only wanna support my own people 🥺👉👈” crap. It’s one thing to support your community, nobody will argue that there’s anything wrong with that, but to do it at the expense of others specifically because they aren’t white, that’s the racist bit, and that was the point of the post. Again, I find your reaction to it to be of the “methinks the lady doth protest too much” sort, warranting my side-eye.
Also, the guy you worship is a very poor example of white superiority. Can’t for the life of me recall ever seeing a god with a wattle.
* unless you want to talk about the plutocratic wealth hoarders at the top, who haven’t shown us a drop of that trickle down bullshit we were promised since the ‘80s, despite decades of record-setting productivity. If we can kneecap those evil scumbags, that’s a real point of pride.
