I guess im just a 'wear a shirt' kind of guy
Do you think that like
Just finished Carl and Leo's route in Echo and I have some thoughts.
Spoilers for those two routes specifically!!
.
.
.
.
Right off the bat, I didn't enjoy the horror in Carl's route very much. I thought it was an expertly written piece of fiction, the reveals were on point, and I really cared about Carl by the end, but the spooky ghost mansion and Jenna's posession just weren't all too scary.
The big twist really feels like it came out of nowhere, and there aren't really any stakes. They kind of just stand around and get attacked over and over while the ghost backstory stuff is playing out. It gets old pretty quick.
Plus, it's not really related to the main point of Carl's route, that being Carl. Its kind of just a traumatic experience that makes him magically learn the moral.
Then I played Leo's route, and it made me cry for the first time in years. This goddamn piece of writing fundamentally changed how I view people and relationships.
The reason it had such a profound effect on me is partially because Leo's hot, but also because I felt a genuine connection with him. The entire route was focused mainly on Leo's obsessive tendencies and how they affect those around him, and the horror played into that perfectly.
When you start off, Leo's described as capable and dependable, and he shows that whenever the horror starts. You begin viewing him as a symbol of security, but as you continue, your view of him shifts, and you lose that security.
It's really effective at making you feel helpless, which is only amplified by the ending.
Good shit. Well written. 10/10
I'm writing a thing and I want to work on it with someone else but all my friends are busy :(

"Why the fuck do you keep calling me "sus", superstar? What does that mean?"
in the jojo universe there’s a stand user section of the internet with positivity post like “arrow born stand users are JUST AS VALID as natural born stand users!!!! your stand abilities don’t need to be inter-generational to be real and important!!!!!”
JEJWNDNSJD stand user memes and discourse.
«still questioning what the fuck actually happened to this day

> its late as fuck
> some guy comes out of the shadows from the side of the road
> looks like hes in his mid-30s, still dressed in a school uniform
> before you can even begin questioning it he shoots you with an arrow as big as a fucking garden shovel
> pass out
> wake up the next day
> still laying on the sidewalk, head pounding
> manifest a stripper spirit that does nothing but yell, cry and break shit whenever present»

"I just dont want LGBT stuff shoved down my throat"
Oh right like how I have christianity shoved down my throat? Or heterosexuality? Or republican beliefs? Or how about homophobia? Transphobia?
You dont get to choose who believes what, and you sure as fuck dont get to choose what about the world you see on a daily basis. Real life isnt like twitter, you cant just block people. Grow up and fucking deal with it.
bon is so mean tho

psa to any twt refugees following me: i fuck with y’all but only because i’m also on twt and i know how shit it is over there. other people aren’t always as nice. also we generally have a positive view of eret and techno and DEFINITELY hannah and we don’t harass people who like schlatt so get used to that okay thanks bye
quick addition: if you really dislike any specific post or blog, don't approach that person or vague post about them. just block and move on. don't go looking for what you hate because you WILL find it— and that's not how we roll. just create your own safe comfortable experience.
(also we like. don't care who you block. we genuinely don't take it personally, you can block/unfollow people for the pettiest things, it's ok)
also theres no need to spread around that one account is problematic or send them hate or anything, literally just block them. if they’re actively harming people, maybe report them. but this is a fan space and we are literally just here to enjoy fan content
that walten sure can file- *gets shot for saying that for the 400th time*
