Somewhere out there in the canonical multiverse of FF7, there is a Sephiroth who had the good/bad luck of always getting dragged into lifestream timeline shenanigans. He doesn't have a Nibelhime Incident because on his way to Shinra Manor's basement he, you guessed it, gets pulled into another crossover episode.
sephiroth aspires to be Joshua TWEWY level of rage baiter
wait sephiroth turning into final jenova tentacle form and he just waves around like an inflatable tube man
safer sephiroth who? this is REAL final battle material
wait sephiroth turning into final jenova tentacle form and he just waves around like an inflatable tube man
she doesn't know she's a space tentacle
woof, man
FF7 is the only game where the text can either outright state or clearly show something and then everyone in the fandom will unanimously decide that they disagree.
Sephiroth was a good person. He was known for being compassionate.
Genesis wanted his friends to flee with him. He also feels absolutely horrible about how everything turned out, and has invested his money into the WRO.
Vincent does not have any interest in a relationship with Lucrecia, nor does he love her.
Cloud is not himself during FF7 Remake OR Rebirth. I donât know how I can beat this into peopleâs heads but CLOUD WAS NOT HIMSELF DURING REMAKE OR REBIRTH. He was a patchwork mess of memories, behaviors, and mannerisms that were not his own.
Zack and Sephiroth were close friends (at minimum) who deeply cared for each other.
Tifa acts like an ableist throughout all of Rebirth. She sweeps Cloudâs disabilities under the rug, she reassures him with false hope and empty promises, and ignores the reality that is right in front of her face: that CLOUD NEEDS HELP. Instead she decides to test his memory to reassure herself that Cloud isnât just faking his identity.
FF7 fans just sort characters into good and bad for no reason. âGenesis is turbo Satan and you should never sympathize with him.â âTifa is an angel who couldnât hurt a fly.â âSephiroth is pure evilâ FF7 has been going on for nearly 30 years and the fandom still canât see past their nose.
YOU ARE NOT A FAN OF ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS IF YOU CANNOT ADMIT THAT THEY HAVE DONE BAD THINGS/MADE BAD CHOICES.
Tifa is actually pretty concerned about Cloud throughout Rebirth. I distinctly remember her constantly asking him if he needs to take a break or get some rest. Don't forget that Tifa is also suffering from her own fair share of trauma, which can also impact memory. And that, in turn, causes her to make certain decisions in how she approaches sketchy areas of Cloud's behavior.
I'm not saying that Tifa is a perfect angel. But I wouldn't speak negatively about her in order to prop up the others. I think ALL the characters are deeply layered and sympathetic and can't be lumped into purely black or white assumptions, regardless of alliances.

I AM BEGGING YOU TO PLAY DIRGE OF CERBERUS. VINCENT VALENTINE IS NOT CURRENTLY IN LOVE WITH LUCRECIA CRESCENT. I DID NOT SAY HE NEVER LOVED HER. I SAID HE DOESNâT LOVE HER.

i saw "does not love her" and thought you meant in general.
i think you need to chill out a bit man, here have some birds
