I just keep thinking about Louis snapping at that pap outside of Bristol farms last month when the baby came up. And today, paps had enough access to take over 70 pics. It's like he's developed a personality disorder. And the fandom's just totally cool with it.

LOL yeah. If you’re a pap and dare ask about the baby while Louis is alone or with friends you get your head ripped off. Not to mention you have Jay tweeting that Louis wants the kid to stay private, which is why she doesn’t post any pictures, BUT OOPS WAIT SHE DID ON HER SUPER PRIVATE FACEBOOK THAT NO FANS HAVE ACCESS TO! And the baby is SO PRIVATE that Louis, walks around a SHOPPING CENTER, he went to the DAY BEFORE, and instead of covering the baby carrier with a blanket like other celebs do when they need to be out with their kid, and don’t want it’s pic taken, he lets that blanket fall to the handle so everyone can see his SUPER PRIVATE BABY!!!!!! While he pushes it around in a circle so the paps get him from every angle in his head to toe Adidas, while Oli plays fucking wet nurse and carries diapers and bottles and other necessities in the same bag he carries his weed.

These narratives have put Louis directly at odds with Harry in the press (and on one laughable occasion even Niall), as Harry is totally done with modest! and Syco and already signed to new firms.

Do you know what would really make sense right about now? If we had never found out there was a baby. We always said they had no reason to announce it, he could have kept it hidden. And here we have Louis acting like he doesn't have a child, so why didn't they keep it hidden if they were going to go this route in the first place? We would have just thought he had a new girlfriend and was enjoying his break, but now he just looks like he is ignoring a baby while flaunting the girlfriend.

There is no reason for us to know he had a child, especially since the child’s mother is a non-celebrity who nobody cares about and especially since the child was born after One Direction’s “hiatus” began and he therefore could have easily avoided pubic scrutiny. Even if he wanted us to know he had a child, there is no reason for us to see him and his new girlfriend out and about every other day while the media reports that the relationship is a major point of contention in his custody battle with Briana. If Louis wanted to show himself as a devoted dad in order to avoid losing custody of his son, there is no reason stalkers and paparazzi would be told his location almost every time he’s out with his girlfriend (aka NOT with his child) and there is no reason he would have taken countless fan pictures in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Utah. If Louis wanted privacy for Freddie, there is no reason we would have even a single picture of the child, or at least not any from Louis and his family. If Louis wanted privacy for Freddie, there is no reason Briana would have been papped outside her private residence (considering she’s a non-celebrity), and there is no reason they would have been papped going to the child’s fucking doctor’s appointment. There is no reason for any of this to have happened except that they wanted it to because this is all an extensive and fucked up charade.

It’s ridiculous, and the saddest part is that there are plenty of people in this fandom who are swallowing this bullshit with a blissful smile on their faces.

There’s a lot of things I have questions about, most of which will never be answered. That’s fine. I get it.

But I’d really like to know why Louis was asking strangers if they wanted a picture with him to prove he was in Park City with Danielle and not L.A. with/near his child.

Assume the custody battle isn’t a thing. He can go on trips. He can go around the world and still be Freddie’s father. But I would remain exceedingly confused and concerned if, every time he did this, he went out of his way to prove it, which is what he’s done for the last 4 weeks.

Why is Louis trying so hard to keep the attention on himself, on his girlfriend who isn’t Briana, on his family that isn’t Briana & Freddie? Why can’t he just relax and enjoy fatherhood if he’s so happy and invested?

I do not find his actions admirable or endearing if he is truly the father of this child. And if you do, that’s swell.

But I’d rather fight on this team - win or lose - than try to explain and excuse this kind of public behavior.
